Not only do both anime deal with main characters who are suddenly brought onboard rebel ships. Both protagonists in Eureka Seven, and Tide-Line Blue are trying to figure out what they want, while trying to persuade negotiation rather than war.  If you like one, you will like the other.

Both Tide-Line Blue, and Xam'd: Lost Memories, start off with characters that suddenly become passengers onboard an airship.  Thrust into a world of war and danger, the characters must learn the importance of working as a crew member, and a soldier.  If you like one there is a good chance you will like the other.

Twins? Sci Fi?  Yes.

If your a fan of a set of twin boys being sent from a life in space to a planet full of challenges, this is the title for you.

Both have a good amount of action, and a lot of exploration of the planets in which they are sent.

Both titles are set in a future after Earth undergoes a devastating change.

Both are adventuresome set in the future.

Both titles are not heavy hitters in the realm of dark or brooding, but more along the lines of hope in mankind's future.

Tideline is more along the lines of Waterworld for   earth cataclysm, and Freedom is more Logan's Run, for people living life in a dome. This said however, if you liked one, you might enjoy the other.

If you like either Mars Daybreak or Tide-Line Blue you'll likely enjoy the other one too.

Both have a military aspect to them, have lots of underwater battle scenes and nice character development.

While Mars Daybreak takes place on Mars and Tide-Line Blue takes place on Earth they both tell a compelling story that makes you want to watch the next episode.

I liked the Tide-Line Blue ending a little better because it was more believable whereas Mars Daybreak was a little more in the realm of science fantasy rather than science fiction.
