I recommend this anime because it tells a love story of a girl with lesser status and someone from the royal family.

These two anime have several things in common....dashing royal? Check.  Strong female lead? Check. The female lead travels from a different land? Triple Check.  Both animes have a somewhat similar setup. If you like the formula then your in for a treat.

Both of these shows are beautiful, innocent, and fulfilling romances featuring a strong-willed, independent woman from a foreign country who tries her best to solve her own problems, and a member of the royal family (king or prince) who recognizes and supports her need to be herself.  Both women face citizism and opposition because of their lower status, and they both do everything in their power to ensure that the people around them accept them and their relationship.  These shows are both sweet and wonderful and if you liked one I'm sure you will like the other.

They're both touching romantic story in a slow paced (although Romeo x Juliet is a tragic one). The setting are both in a era of Kingdomhood where monarchy of royalty rules. They both have fantasy theme in their story. The heroine are both not so much feminine(not a damsel in distress type) where they can atleast protect themselves in some ways in case of danger. The story also shows the character development of male protagonist through getting to know their famale partners.

While this may seem like an unusual recommendation, I think that both of these shows have a similar atmosphere and leave you with a similar feeling.  While the circumstances are completely different, these are both fantastic romances featuring an independent, strong willed woman, and an extremely talented and proud man, who is actually quite vulnerable on the inside.  Their relationship and affection grows as they protect and support each other (rather than the guy always protecting the girl), with plenty of teasing and fighting in between intensly romantic moments.  If you liked one show for the well balanced, entertaining, and loving romance between the characters, then you will like the other.
