it was great but i felt it was a little rushed. i honestly didnt know what was happening sometimes. i wish they took more time ot go over everything that happened maybe did a couple more episodes. but the endong of this incredible show was still amazing. seeing the characters live their lives years later and how britania has grown, was truly the happy ending we  were all hoping for.

spoilers.......

i was kinda hoping to see dian and kings wedding, and their kid. see ban and elains kid. kinda know more about what gowther was doing. check up on merlin and authur. and know what happened to zeldris and gelda after they left.

It was good. The battles were less well choreographed, and in general intense than in the past. That said, still far better than many battle anime and it had a lot of solid plot development. Unlike this season of my hero academia.

I was a little unsatisfied with the ending, the final battle (internal) was very unspectacular, and it didn't have a good resolution tying up loose ends and leaving you satisfied like Lord of the Rings. It seemed abrupt. Maybe they plan on pulling an Evangelion with the ending.

Still, it had some enjoyable battles with some unique twists (and a couple less so) and some decent humor. For the most part it still felt like the same anime we enjoyed in season 1, without getting insanely repetitive.

Like the plot, the characters were generally well developed and expanded upon.

The sound was decent, your average anime, maybe slightly worse than a couple previous seasons. The animation was largely the same way.

I can't give this a 10/10 due to engagement but it is probably an 8 in my books. If the ending were staggering, it would be about a 9.

As a whole, the series is probably an 8.5-9 in its genre, given the depth and coherence of the main and sub plots and it's ability to carry on reasonably consistently throughout. It didn't get watered down and drawn out for the sake of wringing every last drop out of a popular anime.

Nanatsu no Taizai: Funnu no Shinpan

And this is where the plane finally crashes. After hearing years ago that the third season was going to be a disaster, I at least hoped that the fourth season would fix it. I thought to myself, this must be an exception, time pressure? Stress? But no, here with the fourth season the low point in quality is set. It should be forbidden to even charge money for this because no quality standards are being met here.

Despite the massive disappointment, I got through the third season relatively well, at least there was still plenty of story, structure, and character background. But I can no longer say that here. This season is a pure disaster. Not only was the worst arc in the manga adapted here. It had an immensely stupid, broken power system, but also a massively rushed plot. No, this arc is 90% just fights with no end in sight. And on top of that, the pacing is insultingly bad and the animations have practically hit rock bottom. If I ever watch an anime that is worse animated than this one, I'll be really surprised.

And this has little to do with disappointment, it's more a matter of how they dare release something like this in the first place.

[Story 2]

Just like in the manga, I liked the Story up to the point before the final arc began. Until then it was decent, you had some interesting backgrounds, acceptable world-building, and pleasant character relationships. It was embellished with 2-3 decent plot twists on a shounen level and that was it, a pleasant average series to watch in the evening or read during lunch break.

At least until the author started making every possible character into an end boss, flushed the power system down the toilet and everything just runs along the lines of "random bullshit go".

Not to mention that the whole final battle with the Demon King was such a boring tragedy. Everything felt rushed like the author was trying to finish the plot quickly in a panic. Which resulted in a fight like one a 14-year-old would have imagined playing with his bionicles.

[Characters 4]

Here, unfortunately, you don't see much of the characters, as this is just another eternal cycle of dialogue and repetitive events. There were some scenes that I found interesting and that added spice to the character relationships. Especially Mael's performances. But that was it, up to this point everything was done that needed to be done, this whole season was supposed to just show all the fights.

[Animations 2 / Music 5]

The last 2 intros have been very average, but what surprised me was the fact that they were animated better than the anime itself.

Nothing more needs to be said about the animations, no detail at all, unavailable pacing, disastrous actions, and so on. It's a tragedy in the literal sense of the word.

[Conclusion 2]

Even with the manga, I was very averse to this conclusion and found that the author practically ruined everything he had previously built up with it. But I was still willing to watch it a second time. And honestly, this production quality didn't exactly help smooth out its flaws. I believe that was all we could focus on.

A waste of a relatively enjoyable series on both sides. And kudos to everyone who made it this far without giving up.

I was hooked on to the first two seasons of Nanatsu no Taizai, so much so that I watched them twice. But with the third and fourth season, I found myself forwarding through the episodes. To be honest, I didn't have a huuuuuuuge problem with the animation, but I guess it got to me because the whole internet was dissing it.

Everything about this anime is pretty standard, including a fun but over-powered protagonist. However, there are some fatal faults too. Firstly, the anime isn't well thought out. This is to say that the story seems rushed, and while they try to reveal complex back-stories towards the last three seasons, you might find yourself thinking "wtf is going on" instead of "wow that's so cool, how did they come up with that?"

In general, it seems like the story had too much going on, and it wasn't very well conveyed in the anime which really let the whole plot down (which by itself isn't bad at all).

I know that a lot of people have issues with the ships too, like the Ban and Elaine one, but that's just senseless hate.

All in all, Nanatsu no Taizai is a good anime. I wouldn't say that I regret watching it at all, but it's definitely not among my favourites, or something I'd push my friends to watch. Maybe you should watch it for all the internet hype, or if you're bored, but there's really no other reason.
