Yay! The Slave Hero is back in form!… Too bad nobody cares anymore. In case you missed the hypetrain, season 1 was its peak while revengeporn was the main objective. As soon as that was over and the protagonist became another generic overpowered isekai protagonist with his own harem, everyone noped out. Some tried to come back during the second season only to find a complete shitshow. Thus it doesn’t matter if the third season is better. Nobody cares, the hypetrain derailed, and there are now many other isekai to jump onto.

In case you don’t care about any of that and for some weird reason you are still curious, here is what has happened in this season. The Slave Hero buys hundreds of furry children and grooms them into building him a nation. You can sugarcoat all you want how well he treats them and it won’t make a difference. He is the owner of hundreds of animal children and he has them working in a sweatshop. And of course they are really grateful about it, because this is a sick power fantasy for edgelords. Thank you for buying us and have us building you a nation, Lord Naofumi! We are happy to be your tools! Slavery is good if you treat your slaves nicely!

I don’t know if anyone still remembers it, but the objective of this show was to stop the monster invasions. It’s completely sidelined by now in favor of the Slave Hero mocking the other three heroes and that bitch princess manipulating them into doing stupid things. Yes, the plotline that was supposed to be over since the first season is somehow still going on now because the author is out of ideas and just repeats the same story over and over. Without of course having the same impact since nobody cares after Naofumi got his revengeporn and now owns his own slave nation of children to groom as he fancies. Sick incel power fantasies are cool.

You would think the incel protagonist has enough to rebuild his life by now. Because that was also his initial goal, if anyone still remembers. To rebuild his life after the bitch princess ruined everything, he was stuck with a shield that can’t use attack magic, and nobody wanted to be part of his team. Well, guess what, he now has a billion times more than when he was just an average Japanese guy who got sucked into a book. But no, he keeps adding more waifus to his harem and you can bet your ass the raccoon waifu is going to be really salty about it and will be cock blocking them as usual. Yes, even that plotline keeps repeating because the author is out of ideas.

Wait a second, how exactly does this show manage to hide all these sick fetishes so the five people who still watch this trash will get joy out of it? Oh, right by having evil slavers attacking! And they intend to sell the furry children for profit. What an evil thing to do. Slavery is evil and should not be supported by anyone. The main character is of course the exception. He will teleport out of nowhere with his harem to rescue his property (the children he grooms) and will then punish the slavers who dared to do such an evil thing, by making them slaves. Haha! That will teach them how evil slavery is! Unless it’s him who’s doing the slavery. It’s perfectly fine in that case. Because he deserves it! He is just rebuilding his life after all the terrible things that happened to him, boohoohoo! Give the man a slave nation and his own L’Oreal commercial!

Why the heck would anyone still watch this trash, if not to waste his time? There is nothing good in it. And the truth is there never was, but the revengeporn plot in the first season fooled a lot of people to think it’s deep. Well it’s not, it’s just another isekai about a pedo groomer with broken powers and an ever expanding harem of women who love to be enslaved by him. The monster invasions and the salvation of the world never mattered. Onwards to enslaving more children and making it look like it’s good!

This series started off so well in season 1 but by season 3 its just kind of... sad. There is a coherent storyline but its so lackluster that at times it's hard to get through an episode. Very unfortunate.

They got some nerves to come up with that filler season, story never progress' and even some worthless fights goes for 2 episodes. Make it into anime like Fairy Tail, One Piece etc. or drop the filler episodes. You only get few more members and everything is downhill from there, its like; yes here is 3 episodes worth 12 episodes and you will not progress even a inch. They better come up with a season soon enough or it will die while trying to earn some money with senseless crap...

It's been a while since I didn't made a review of an anime, and I think the best way to start again with this is finishing the line with a series that I really liked in the 1st season, but after that it went on a big downhill in the 2nd season, yes, I'm talking about the Shield Hero.

After that terrible 2nd season (I reccomend checking my review), I was hoping 3rd season to be better, I hoped it could be atleast enjoyable, ¿Did Shield Hero 3 got at the same level as S1? Let's check it out.

This review contains spoilers.

In the start of the season they told us that the three useless heroes dissapeared and we need to reunite all of them to fight agaisnt a Wave of Calamity that will happen in three months.

In the time lapse to prepare from that Wave, Naofumi decides to take care of the Raphtalia village where now the Demihumans like her lives here, so he buys all the slaves that the slavist had and as a recomendation of him, Naofumi goes to another town where he meets the slavist's brother and we know that in that town, people makes auctions to buy slaves, and also there is a colisseum where people fights and the audience bets for someone to win the fight, like in a football match, people bets all their savings for seeing their fav team winning.

Naofumi and his team goes to that colisseum to save one of the slaves and also winning more money

In paper this idea sounds interesting, but at the end this wasn't executed that well, most of the fights were very forgettable outside this season has animation, this season is not animated in Power Point like the 2nd season.

And the fight agaisnt Killer-Whale Woman was actually well animated, and the furry boy story who wants to get money to save the life of her furry friend is actually sad, at the end I'm glad Naofumi bought these two to bring them to the village and heal the furry girl

But after this miniarc almost everything was slice of life moments in the village with the furries, which it was very boring, I'm not that invested in the stories of these randoms, things happens and well, we get in the three heroes plot.

In this story, we found out that the Sword Hero lost all his teamates agaisnt the Tortoise, eh, let's pretend S2 never happened, we will suposse he lose his teamates in a hard mission. So he blames them for being weak an the b* appears and says bullshit and Naofumi wants to convince the Sword Hero to don't listen to the b**, then the Sword Hero goes with the b* and she steals his money and ends getting mad and killing everyone.

Then Motoneta appears and I won't resume much of this part, just he passed from simp of the b* to simp of Filo.

Man, this plot with the three heroes is so stupid, it's good that the series takes more deep into the three heroes, but man when you don't like a character, unless it gets a logical redemption, you won't get invested by them, Bakugo tried to get development in BnHA and I still think he's an asshole and poorly written character, Motoneta and Ren are still assholes whose don't learn nothing and are so unlikeable.

And after that embarrasment we have the dragon arc, where Naofumi and his team fights agaisnt a dragon who is related with a little girl who loves dragons.

Atleast the fight against the dragon was quite entertaining and it has some good animated moments.

And the final arc of the season, the Bow Hero part.

We go to a colisseum where the Bow Hero was fighting and he was brainwashed by the b*, and Rishia, the simp of the Bow Hero fights agaisnt him to make him see reason, and well, he end being betrayed by the b*.

At the end we got a big cliffhanger because Raphtalia native kingdom wants to make a war against others because Raphtalia has royal blood and Naofumi will stop that war and that is a thing for a future 4th season.

If the Season 1 was so groundbreaking and interesting, and the Season 2 was so awful in many different ways, the Season 3 is just... mid.

It's super boring, this season focuses more on secondary characters and their stories, and they aren't interesting at all because these characters are so cliche that you don't get invested in them.

We got invested in Naofumi and Raphtalia in Season 1 becuase we got more spotlight about them and both developed in a very good way, Melty was charismatic and fun, Filo is cute and that's everything, the Queen is a badass, and these are all the good characters in this franchise, I didn't forgot one, true? Oh, the girl from the OVA, I guess she's nice.

With this season's characters, they're boring and well, maybe you are invested in Lady Whale, but i'm not.

Feels more like a secondary quest more than an actual sequel, I guess this series needs to delevop its characters with time, but this wasn't the way to do it.

Animation is fine, it got better visuals than 2nd Season, it's animated with actual fluidity and not with Power Point, which is great, the music is good bc Kevin Penkin makes great OST, the Opening honestly is one of the best things of the season, thanks to this great animation.

This franchise became a generic isekai, where there MC is broken and all the girls and furries are for him, a Sword Art Online Season 1 level of generic bad isekai.

Season 1 got a great premise with interesting world, good character development and a revenge plot that was well handled for the most part, Season 2 was so rushed and awful in many levels that it literally made everyone think that this series was shit all the time, and Season 3 is so boring and plain that has nothing to tell besides two good episodes.

If you like Shield Hero S3, great for you, you found fun something that I didn't, congratulations!

But I'm tired from this franchise, I will pretend this only has one season, and the rest never existed, good day!

I dislike reisha , I don't know why she keep whining about everything , and even defeated a HERO. Is that even making sense ? The Raccoon girl that follows naofumi is stronger then she is and can't even defeat The heros , so is the writer saying Reisha can fight toe to toe with GLASS ?  I'll be giving this Season 5 or 4.5 review because of reisha and Malty , all this could have ended in season 1 malty could have died and Non of the otherworldly heros won't have access to Naofumis world  , it sickens me to the core
