Both animes are directed by the same man so they have a similiar feeling to them.

They resolve a lot about ridiculously huge breats and fanservice in general. Throw in some fighting and we have Seikon no Qwaser & Manyuu Hiken-chou. While I coulden't stand either of them, people who have liked one of them will enjoy the other.

chii chii says...

If you are looking for anime that features boobs as part of their plots look no further than these two titles! Lots of action, fanservice, and of course... BOOBS! Prudes need not apply!

Thrawn Thrawn says...

Boobs. If you're going to watch either one, it has to be uncensored, as their plots revolve around boobs and in general, boobage, which is all they have going for them. And some action, but that's after the ecchi overdose. If you can get through one, you can handle the other you perv.

HasseRovdjur HasseRovdjur says...

Both shows contain an obnoxious amount of boobs and stupidity. Seikon no Qwaser is a bit more serious while Manyuu Hiken-chouu is more tongue-in-cheek, but on the whole they're pretty similar. If you watched one and want more boobs, go ahead and watch the other.

Brad Brad says...

Both shows have a plot, a plot which is solely about breasts. So expect lots of nudity, lots of boob related humour, mishaps and tribulations.

Seikon no Qwaser is a particularly terrible anime for many reasons, whereas i actually enjoyed Manyuu Hicken-chou because it had some likeable characters, some funny humour and a plot that was actually decent when compared to other stupidly ecchi shows.

But hey, who am i kidding, you're here because you like boobs, and lucky for you each has them in spades. So knock yourself out.

Sianeka Sianeka says...

Both shows are about opai, women's breasts, and both shows display many naked titty shots, and feature a lot of over-large (and impossibly, gravity-defying, anti-rules-of-physics large)  bouncing boobage in the story.

Both shows have a plotline that involves a lead heroine whose breast size increases during the show and having a plotline that makes this feasible and even recommended.

Both shows feature many, many scantily or non-clad generously endowed women, besides the wonder-growing boobs of the main heroine.

Manyuu Hiken-chou 's plot is driven by the lead female protagonist, while Seikon no Qwaser's lead female is often eclipsed by her male co-lead on the show.  Consequently, just about every male in Seikon is driven by the plotline to violate and objectify (or worse) all the females in the show, while there are some more normal males in Manyuu, which is the more believable of the two.

Still, you probably won't be watching these because of their fascinating and unique plot developments or scintillating and captivating characters.  Probably the reason you ARE watching is the to see the naked opai, and neither show will let you down in this respect

Mayank Mayank says...

Nudity, especially boobs, are very central to the plot of both of these shows. Despite the ample amount of massive milkers (literally) being bounced around in every second scene, both these shows have surprisingly good action. Dare I say, if you watch hentai more for the plot than, err - other stuff, both Manyuu and Qwaser are for you.

Both series shares an amount quantity of elements. They are "shonen series", that means: young and exhuberant women fighting each other with high level martial arts and superpowers, and losing their dresses in combat. But the most important common factor is the high ecchi level, which is almost mature content in ocassions. Is difficult to find in any of them a scene without close ups boobs or underwear or some kind of (barely explicit) sexualy sugesttive material.

sothis sothis says...

If you're looking for over the top, flat out disturbing ecchi (note: to see what I'm talking about in qwaser, you need to see the uncensored version), look no further than these two 'gems'. If you liked one (WHY), check out the other.

wolfangel87 wolfangel87 says...

Even though Seikon no Qwaser seems to be a better anime over all than Queen’s Blade both of these shows share the similar shounen qualities wrapped up in a great deal of ecchi.  The superpowers and fighting sequences are similar throughout.

KittyEmperor KittyEmperor says...

Probably the greatest similarity between the two is the absurd amount of ecchi in the two.  Really things like the story, fighting, and basically everything else takes a back seat when it comes to the main focus of each series.  Really if you liked the ecchi in one of them then you'll probably end up liking the ecchi in the other.

Korwin Korwin says...

Shows with different thematic but... are they different? I'm not talking about the setting, it's the selling point that's basically the same. What we have here are two shows that most people would look at with disgust for the amount of explicit material.

These shows are what they look like, nothing deep, mind-boggling but pure entertainment in it's native form. I'm talking about animated mud wrestling between girls, that's the closest comparison in my opinion. If you don't enjoy ecchi in the slightest degree then steer away, this is not something you will enjoy. But if you do fancy fanservice in it's ultimate form of entertainment, not as a spice to a show but fanservice as a show itself then these titles are definitely worth of your time.

Fullmetal Alchemist

Fullmetal Alchemist

Once upon a time, two brothers passed the happy days of their childhood by studying alchemy, which is governed by the equal transfer principle: an eye for an eye -- you can't get more than you give. But these brothers tried to defy that law, and a horrific accident resulted. Now, the older brother, Edward, is called the Full Metal Alchemist because of his metal limbs, and the younger, Alphonse, is a soul without a body, trapped within the confines of an automaton. Together they search for the power to restore themselves, to find the lives they lost so long ago...

FMA is Qwaser... minus the ecchi/hentai. Both have rather elaborate plots centering around magic/alchemy, a lot of characters that come in and out of the series, and a lot of action.

KittyEmperor KittyEmperor says...

Fullmetal Alchemist is similar to Seikon no Qwaser in that they both deal with people controlling elements to do want they want.  Granted in Fullmetal Alchemist none of the ecchi exists that is in Seikon no Qwaser but they both have a lot of action in each.

RedCrossRobbery RedCrossRobbery says...

Seikon no Qwaser is in no way like FMA (if anyone tells you otherwise, they are stupid), and even the use of alchemy is much different, however, being that there is alchemy/chemistry in both series, I felt as if I should suggest it. If you liked Fullmetal, watching Seikon no Qwaser will probably irritate you (plus loads of ecchi makes people hate it), but if you enjoyed the science used in Qwaser, you will definitely love Fullmetal Alchemist, a much more mature series.

wolfangel87 wolfangel87 says...

Fullmetal Alchemist and Seikon no Qwaser involve people controlling different elements with alchemy.  The whole cast of characters essentially run on the same vein.

Each series has a lot of ecchi and a lot of action. Each series also has a lot of comedy to balance it. Also, magic is a large part of each story.

KittyEmperor KittyEmperor says...

Both series mainly deal with a lot of action and ecchi.  In Ichiban it's mainly about a group of people who can use magic to fight and in Seikon it's more about people who can control different elements and using that to fight they both pretty much deal with pople with special powers fighting each other.  So if you liked one then you'll like the other.

With action ecchi Ichiban Ushiro no Damimaou and Seikon no Qwaser are the perfect balance for each other.  Both series involve the characters using special magical powers to fight one another.

If you liked one then you'll like the other because both feature highschool aged people fighting with martial arts/superpowers and in the person of the fighting the one or more of the female characters end up losing a portion of their clothing.  The ecchi in both series is probably the biggest draw point and the actual fighting comes in second so if you liked one then you'll like the other.

Fate/stay night

Fate/stay night

The Holy Grail War is a battle between seven magicians who each summon a mythical hero to fight for their cause. Shirou, a twice orphaned high school boy, had so little magical talent that his foster father did not bother teaching him about the war and its meaning. Thanks to that lack of foresight, Shirou finds himself in a bit of a pinch when he accidentally summons a hero of the strongest class, and is sucked into the fray. The Grail grants the winner any wish they have. But driven by an unyielding sense of justice and self-sacrifice, for what will Shirou fight?

Eiken

Eiken

When Mifune fell hands first into Chiharu's bulbous, bulging bosoms one day, he had no idea his life would change forever. For the girl is a member of Eiken, a school club filled with busty beauties such as banana-loving Kirika and the exceptionally top-heavy child Komoe, and they've decided to recruit the boy as one of their own! With perverted situations at every turn, Mifune finds himself in frequent compromising positions, whether the group is participating in swimsuit bungee jumping, riding a yogurt slide in pairs or even seductively eating phallic food.

While Seikon no Qwaser may have more plot than Eiken, both are mainly about ecchi, boobs, fan service and bigger boobs. Inside, completely stupid and dumbfounding; on the outside, all mammaries with no real lasting value. Just come in with the expectation of rampant perversion for either one and nothing else and you will not be dissapointed.

Brad Brad says...

Boobies are the only item on the menu in each of these shows, so if that's your thing then look no farther than these two turds.

Eiken is more comedy focused and is heavily censored, hell, there ain't a nipple in sight. Qwaser on the other hand tries its hand at a real plot, obviously it fails, but it tried to be serious, it also has a lot of nudity. Both should satisfy your need for upper lady parts though.

All seems well, that is until Airi and Ayana form separate clubs, the Mechanical Science Club and the Chemical Science Club. Titties. Both have titties, both have massive amount of titties and both put woman's rights and equality back about 20 years. Excessive fanservice over plots, more detail in the titties and acts around titties than in the characters themselves, a budget geared towards animation and milk. Loads of milk. And while Seikon no Qwaser tries to have a plot, it largely doesn't matter and is just a means to show titties on screen. And it has action, something that Kagaku na Yatsura has in some degree, mostly of the sexual kind. Chances are if you can get through one, you can get through the other.

Brad Brad says...

Loads of breasts, breast milk spurting out at every opportunity, a complete disregard for women and some truly appalling characters - The both have each of these not so desireable traits by the bucket.

Seikon no Qwaser has a plot, and falls flat on its tits in doing so, at least Kagaku na Yatsura did without and got straight to the action, so to speak. Nobody should ever watch either of these abominations, but if for some reason you're into this kind of thing, i think you'll enjoy each of these.

Both anime revolve around the breasts of young women in a  creepy fanservice kind of way, and there is little more to them than that. Sure, Seikon no Qwaser may try to fool you with its turgid action scenes and "plot", but we all know better. T&A is the name of the game here. Ojisan is more to the point, but also far more decent about it, but it's the same type of deal in both.

If you liked either one, you might want to dive into the pillowy bosom of the other anime.
