Solid ending to a great series (No spoilers)

Despite feeling overstuffed, the Quints movie delivered a good conclusion to series. The Quints movie does a great job with its character arcs and wrapping up the main story of the first two seasons. The animation was good and the ost was quite nice but didn't particularly stand out. The movie really suffered in its pacing, with a number of overlapping plots that can get confusing on the first watch. It follows a specific character's perspective up til a certain point, then resets to follow a different perspective of the same events multiple times. Because of the many storylines, the movie felt unfocused or too fast at times. Personally, the ending did seem a little out of no where? (for lack of a better term) However, I still felt satisifed with how the movie handled fitting the final arcs into its runtime, and is certainly worth the watch.

Disappointing.

The story is cut short, over paced and feels as it gives more time to less import Plot points.

I feel that this this has damaged all the characters in small ways.

I feel that this film can not justify it's ending.

I feel that there is no weight to any action primarily due to its rushed paced.

This should of been a series it was not sensible to shove and gutter the remaining story into such a length of time.

Watch it if you will.

***100% Major Spoilers***

Gave the girls points anytime they had a growth moment, got closer to Fuutarou or for just cute moments and stupid stuff like that from S1 till the end.

---------------------------------------

Miku - 34

Most growth as a character and in her relationship with Fuutarou, but was a little slow with the progress due to being so reserved and shy. For S1, S2 and the movie she was always the one that shined the brightest for me in every aspected. She was the goat of the show and I was really upset she didn't win, she deserved it the most for all her effort. I added her to my Favourite list i liked her that much.

---------------------------------------

Nino - 15

The run away freight train of love. When she fell for Fuutarou she didn't stop pushing from start till finish. The most straight forward and honest of all the girls when it came to him. She is rough around the edges and prickly at times, but she knows what she wants and goes after it unashamed. Even if she does go about it in a awkward way at times.

---------------------------------------

Ichika - 14

Her big sister vibe is just the best, but a little bit manipulative and goes astray when chasing after Fuutarou. She was always the mischievous one and added lots of entertainment to the show because of it.

---------------------------------------

Yotsuba - 9

She was a very likeable, caring and upbeat girl, but it felt like she was just thrown in at the very end out of nowhere for the top spot. All her growth and development literally happen in the last 40 mins of the movie. Where as we didn't get much if anything out of her from the first 2 seasons. She was always in the background and just came out of nowhere to take it in a last minute development. Not that i hate her character mind you its just she was a bit bland and uninteresting in comparison to Miku, Nino or Ichika. She needed more screen time and development.

Also knew from the start that Yotsuba was the one in the picture, she was the only one that was that upbeat and cheerful to strangers. I did think Miku was going to be the bride though, sigh.

---------------------------------------

Itsuki - 7

Istuki is most definitely the most disconnected from any of the actual romance. It felt like she didn't even belong in the choosing at the end. At least Yotsuba had the childhood memories and feelings for him, but Istuki just didn't seem that connected to Fuutarou in the end. It was almost like she didn't really care for him or maybe it was just because they skipped stuff from the manga, ill have to read it. Also the only one that doesn't kiss him.

---------------------------------------

I didn't like his choice at the end but i do get it and see where he was coming from. Just wish it was developed better throughout the show not just at the end. All around it was a good show despite that, with a really good ending that fit well with the shows concept of sisterly bonds. Especially the part at the end where he can identify each of them now and he points each one of them out in their wedding dresses and gives them complements one at a time, was touching and show just how close they still are.

Going to read the manga now and keep a closer eye on Yotsuba to see if i missed anything. As well as see what they skipped from the anime, cause it really does feel like they skipped a lot with at least Istuki if not Yotsuba just so they could fit it all into the movie.

After reading the manga these are my thoughts on the changes from manga to anime and how they effect the end choice. I also list a few of the more notable changes.  Manga Review

Amazing? No. Worth the watch? Yes.

You have to give the author credit for planning out a definitive ending where others would have appeased everyone.

Watch it all again. You'll see it happen.
