Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for...

Both seem like generic school romances at first, but their quirky characters, great comedy, and heartwarming scenes make each worth watching. Both are also really about people growing up and figuring out how to live their lives.
Both series are high school romcoms in which the male lead is made to take care of his somewhat helpless female classmate (or kouhai in case of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo). The key difference is the type of character the female lead is, in case of Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo it's a kuudere and in case of Toradora! it's a tsundere. Aside from the main duo both series also feature a small cast of their friends who have romcom drama of their own. If you liked one show, odds are you'll like the other one as well.
They both have the same kind of feeling to them and have both have a group of friends that are all so diffrent and both have palmtop tiger mascots :P. I love both these animes
Death and reincarnation are inescapable, but what happens in between? Without warning and without his memories, a boy who only recalls his last name - Otonashi - wakes up next to a girl named Yuri who offers him a gun and tells him to shoot an angel. Assuming it must be a misunderstanding, Otonashi is then almost killed by the angel and is drawn...

Both have a fantastic kuudere character. The story is basically about the story of the characters life.. Some thing may not possible to happen but both still worth to watch.. People who do love a genre of "slice of life" is a must to watch this anime
Both anime series consist of romance and a mix of comedy. The main character in both series are portaryed as the "normal" character that finds other''s actions to be odd.
These are two incredibly beautiful stories that have you emotionally moved throughout the entire show. Though Angel Beats has less Romance than Sakurasou, they are both very strong Dramas that never mention filler (ever, seriously) and fill in all the blanks with well done comedy and adventure. They start a little light hearted with some comedy and happy backstory but get into the thicker story fairly quickly. Both of them also take place in their own little worlds (be it figurative or not) so you get very comfortable with the setting. Angel Beats is my number one favorite anime of all time, and Sakurasou is right there with it. Both of them are absolute must watches for any Drama or Romance fan.
Long ago, humans lived in the sea. However, some humans defied the Sea God and moved to the land, creating the division that now exists between Shioshishio, the Sea Village, and Oshiooshi, the village of the land. Now, four middle school students from the Sea Village, Manaka Mukaido, Hikari Sakishima, Chisaki Hiradaira, and Kaname Isaki must attend Mihama...

There have been many shows that features a group of friends having love interest with each other and/or one of the character in the group will fall in-love with someone foreign to them and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo and Nagi no Asukara are example of the said theme. While Sakurasou does not feature supernatural creatures like Nagi no Asukara but features weird people, they both have the same feeling and the most important part of both, the characters' development that improves the show more.
When i first started watching anime back in October 2013, i never liked Slice of Life. I had to watch great anime like Clannad After story to actually get into it.But when I watched Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, everything changed. It was funny. It was intresting.Morte than 1 year later I started watching Nagi no Asukara, and I liked it in a way i don't usually like other slice of life anime. Now, considerating that Sakurasou is actually a slice of life and Nagi no Asukara is a bit more... fantasy-like, because, you know, people that lives like fishes in the sea, they can both be really itresting and 'peaceful' anime.
Both anime are very heart warming and unique in there own way. Both are tales involving coming of age themes with romance.
