Bookstore employee Mikado always had a tendency to see creepy things. He had lived his life pretending he didn't see these things but then he has a fateful encounter with an exorcist named Hiyakawa. Mikado ends up being forced to help out with exorcism duties and has to deal with the embarrassing fact that exorcising these things with Hiyakawa somehow feels really good. While getting dragged into dealing with these cases every day, they run into a cold-blooded murder case. Enjoy a new kind of horror mystery created by total opposites.

This show was slow to start but once you get into it the story picks up. So glad I didn't drop this series. I will say that this anime isn't for everyone and will give off some creepy vibes (it did for me). Lastly yes, it's listed at BL and has some BL elements. However, it also is a paranormal/mystery anime. So glad I didn't drop this series. It's so underrated. And a hidden gem. I really enjoyed watching this anime. If you are not into BL I would pass, though it won't be like traditional BL. The two main characters do have affection for each other but it's shown in sudden ways like grabbing hands, invading personal space and having a certain connection that is obvious to everyone but one character.  The two main characters Kosuke Mikado and Rihito Hiyakawa both have paranormal powers. Hiyakawa has a more standoff-ish presence and gives off creepy vibes due to his actions, past trauma, and overall his possessiveness towards Mikado. His supernatural powers have grown within 12 episodes. I didn't expect him to grow so confident and less frightened. I loved seeing him grow throughout the story. He grew stronger, less afraid, and open to helping others. And that was touching. I get why people would dislike Mikado due to his attitude and possessiveness towards Hiyakawa. The animation was really nice, again giving off creepy vibes. It's not fast-paced and I think that's where a lot of people drop it. I gave it 3 to 4 episodes before deciding to drop it. It picks up in episode 4 I believe. Again if you're not into BL take a pass on this story. If you're looking for something new that you wouldn't normally watch, I'd say give this a try.
