Both anime feature a couple with huge height disproportion. In both the female lead is huge and the male lead is short. If you were looking for anime with such theme, then those two should suit your taste.

So for the thing about Both Lovley Complex and The Kabocha Wine is probably alot very similar and different because the anime Lovley Complex only has 24 episodes but for The Kabocha Wine however it only lasted about 95 episodes from 1982 until 1984 because both anime has a female lead character who is tall and the male character lead is short in both anime titles such as Lovely Complex and The Kabocha Wine.
