Well if your expecting anything new out of this then i am sorry you will be very disappointed it's your same old op character trope and if you are so much interested in demon lord trope then i suggest watching "Misfit of the demon king academy" it's actually better then this anime                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 P.s idk if anybody as felt this but ard meteor (protagnist of this show) is a low buget version of Anos voldegoad (Protagonist of misfit of demon king acadmey) may be it's just me

Yea it's pretty bad. You can tell what's going to happen before it happens. It had potential to break common tropes if it wanted to but at every turn it just does what you'd expect it to do. The most basic of storytelling guides is to tell the story of the most interesting part of your protaganists life. In this case this is not what is happening. It actually started off promising. I thought it would be about a person with 0 social awareness and skill. I was imagining him making drastic and outlandish plans to try and make a friend. I thought it'd be about his story of how hes becomes a normal person with the message that it doesn't matter how powerful you are and how much you're worshiped if you still feel alone. But his single motivation of his reincarnation to make a friend is taken care of quite quickly in the very first episode. And instead we're left with this generic fantasy world with an uninspired, unexplained magic system and new world. Part of a reincarnation story is teh character learnign and adapting to this new world. This is not the case here. The majority of the characters apart from teh main are either there just for some tits and ass with the intellect of a underdeveloped child. Even his so called general who's knows him doesn't catch on yet even though she should. The dialogue makes you want to cringe into a ball and disappear. Even if you somehow weren't aware of the common reincarnation tropes you would be severely disappointed.
