The Girl From the Other Side: Siuil, a Run OVA - Reviews

Finally! Someone animated that fever dream I had that one time.

But seriously, this is a lovely animation that fits so much in to so little time. It explains things without words flawlessly, yet leaves so many questions unanswered. Rather sorrowful, yet at the same time heartwarming. The animation is both beautiful and haunting.

I'd definitely recommend if you have a few minutes.

Okay okay, first off, I've read the manga, waiting to buy volume 10. With this being an OVA  I don't got much to say, also it's already breaking mah heart ;^;

I'm aware of the story, I can practically hear the two talking in every scene. Yet in the OVA no one has spoken so far. I love it and I'm worried about it at the same time. It was a lot of story telling through the art, actions of the characters, and through the music. From what I've seen, the studio is fully capable of expressing the situation and a character's feelings and the plot without words. But as I've mentioned, I know what's going on already. I'm worried newcomers will miss things or not understand it in the future. Worse comes to worse, dicouraged to read the manga.

What I love is how the animation keeps the art style of the manga. It's very soft on the eyes and nice to look at. I really do hope that the quality will be consitent when it's released.

Sound: I'm a little iffy. Don't know why, but it just might be the fact no one is talking throwing me off.

Characters: Yes. I got nothing more than yes. Love em in the manga, don't think I can hate them here, especially since it's only an OVA.

Highly recommend reading the manga before this gets released! I eat this stuff for breakfast.

This has bits and pieces from volume's 1 through 4 and this little video is like a little extra treat for those who have read so far in the manga. 

The art is beautiful and stays quite true to the manga's art style. The music is great and very fitting for every small scenario that occurs throughout the video.

Would recommend to everyone that is reading the manga or has already done so and just wants to indulge themselves on what's available of this series.
