Both anime have a main characters who has something thet makes them more powerful than everyone else. For Saiki it's his psychic powers, for Senku it's his extraordinary intelligence.

It had the same amount of drama and humor. And it also has the same kinda of plot (kinda): Main character has a huge secret that he hides from others.

I highly recomend this. It has very similar type of humor. It's kind of comfort anime if you're searching for some. I was very happy while watching it. Both brought me so much joy. My top comedy animes.

Classroom of the Elite

Classroom of the Elite

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it's said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school's problem children. What's more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class. But among all the students who lead such self-indulgent lives, there is one who disagrees with it all and chooses to remain solitary, avoiding contact with others: the beautiful Horikita Suzune. She has figured out that, even though the school gives students huge amounts of money, it also offers many means of "assistance for students with no money." One month later, Ayanokouji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school...

If your main draw to the anime was the main character, you will probably enjoy the recommendation. Both are stoic and observant. Extraordinary people trying to appear ordinary.

If you like funny and feel good animes this is for you. Although it's a bit of a stretch, The Royal Tutor is an anime that will leave you laughing and wanting more. Anyways, you'll more than likely also find yourself relating to the funny/stupid characters as well. Both animes have a funny main character who can also be pretty serious at times and finds themselves in difficult or odd situation (somewhat often). You'll get to know the charcters quickly and love them for their unique personalitys and flaws, trust me.

Short, comical series that gets you hooked from the first few minutes of watching! There is a perfect balance of comedy and seriousness. Both main characters are balancing two aspects of their lives. Both have great English dubs.

Okay, it may sound absurd, but these two actually have somewhat similar vibes. Like Saiki, Aoyama is very talented, but not interested in his classmates. Both animes have a slice-of-life formula, play with the backstage of manga drawing, and have unique characters that cause absurd situations.

These are both shows that are slice of life on the surface but have largely fantastical elements underneath, specifically with how the protagonist has powers and/or abilities that the viewing audience largely doesn't expect them to have.

There is also huge similarities in regards to moment to moment character dialogue being filled with meta-yet-campy gags, as well as scenes that defy logic and border on Toon Force, similar to stuff you'd see from Popeye.
