So if you've seen Haruhi, you'll know this story. It sets up like the Endless Eight, but speeds through that much quicker (thankfully). It is nice to see they have a bit of a sense of humour towards it. There's a bit of extra storyline to it this time, as well as involving Asakura and Tsuruya, who we're never major players until this series. Overall it's a bit a of a fun episode to end on.
