The Daily Life of the Immortal King - Reviews

This anime plot is terrible. don't know why people rank it too high, just a waste of my time, the dub is weird, the word-for-word translation to English is awful. I understand the main protagonist doesn't want to stand out but to the point it is annoying, seems they miss the overpowering main character formula, that The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. done right.

This series is idiotic same as those people whom likes it.

This is a really good chinese animation, with lots of similarities and references to popular animes. The main character is very similar to Saiki K from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. I also felt it had similarities to My Hero Acadamia, or The Irregular at Magic High School, as people in these worlds have powers at different levels and the best are chosen to compete. The main character in this show is considered 'OP' and better than others, but no one realizes it. The end felt very rushed to me, they had one scenario and completely switched to another, not giving much closure on the abandoned ending. I'm looking forward to watching the next season, as it was not a satisfactory ending for me. The song choice and placement was well done, and I loved the intro song.

absolutely dissapointing. for me this anime started off with a rating of 2/10 and after the 14th episode it was around 5.5/10 but after the 15th episode it went down to 3/10. have a see for self if u want.

Is it a comedy? A shounen? A shoujo? I don't feel they decided, which leaves the viewer confused because I don't think they did any of these right.

It was funny, wholesome and just down right good.

It reminded me of Saiki(anime) because of the playfullness. You begin to realize how much influence everyone had on the MC. 

The art was also great, I loved the battle between MC and that ginger chick, The music and everything, His disorted voice played it pretty well too. At the end of the anime, you realize he could've just killed that chick in an instant but instead he chose to toss her around like a rag doll during thier fight. Truly wanted revenge for his ladyyy

Not gonna lie I fell for the FL just as much as he did around the end there :')) 

Loved it, recommend you watch. Little slow in the middle but pretty great overall. Bold beginning so it was pretty tough for the story to follow up to that.
