[ !!SPOILERS AHEAD!! ]

This one is just awesome. It perfectly potrays how everyone has their own share of problems in life. Some deide to let go of them while some keep pestering on the past. The fl is the second category while the ml is more of the first category. In our lives more or less we feel burdened of our problems, blaming ourselves. Both the leads are blaming themselves but only one of them is aware of the reality. The fl keeps pestering her old mistakes and problems which leads to problems but the ml brings her back. However, despite being so thick-headed the fl always pushed everyone to do their best. Rather she was the reason everyone became so worked up about their feelings problems and stuff.

All in all this whole movie has a lot to teach but istg their is only one flaw. The leads should have ended up together. It's so sad they didn't end up together :"). Other than that this movie is a must watch. This definitely nees to reach a lot more people.

I wasn't expecting a lot from this movie after reading the synopsis about an "egg king", but watched it anyways because the animation style looked very nice, and I had time to kill.

Story- For a movie I had never heard of before and came across randomly, BOY, does it deserve more views. Looking at Anthem of the Heart straight on, it's a very typical movie - Girl blames herself for something that really isn't her fault, and spends the next few years punishing herself, and creating difficulties with how she interacts with others, or how they percieve her. Apathetic boy 'saves' her, becomes less apathetic, blah blah. As far as anime goes that's an extremely typical plot line- Until it isn't anymore.

Animation- The animation was wonderful. The colors were very pleasing, and the movement was fluid. It wasn't the absolute selling point of the anime, but it did fit this story very well.

Sound- I watched this subbed (I'm not sure that there is a dub?), and the Japanese voice actors definitely outdid themselves, going above and beyond so many times. There's a number of musical elements, and you could tell they really put their hearts into it. All of the voices were extremely fitting for the characters. They really breathed life into them; I was impressed with the voice acting right from the start. The music played is also very catchy.

Characters- All of the characters are unique, and flawed, but none of them are bad people. They're all immensely different, and were necissary in keeping the story rolling. Even though it is a movie, and not a 12 part series, all of the characters got a considerable amount of character development- Even the main characters mother got a little, and she had very little screen time. I also appreciated that the show never really fell into the troupe of "The quiet girl gets bullied by all her classmates", even though the minor characters didn't understand her, instead of picking on her, they all came together and cheered her on. It was refreshing to see in this type of media. I also really enjoyed that the characters don't form into the couples that appear they will, like I guessed they would right at the beginning.

All in all, very enjoyable. A recommended watch.

Also, if you do watch this and enjoy it, I suggest watching: A Silent Voice next. I won't get too into it, but they hit all the same strides.

It actually took months for me to finish this one because everytime I tried to watch it I just don't feel like it. But yesterday, I resumed it and wowww I wish that I watch this in one seating at a right time. Even the beginning of this movie is already heart wrenching and it kinda slow down a lil bit in the middle when the mc trying to find her voice but damnnn the half of it I really like it. Especially the singing part, the songs are goood and it feels like you were there (at least for me). This movie gives me mild goosebumps the one you get when you're excited and feelings yes feelings. I like it how it shows how teenagers feel and think as they are also hurting but sometimes adult just don't get it. perhaps because they think that it just a small matter. Just a reminder that they have feelings and it's valid and the way you treated them will somehow affect them as they become adult.

P/s: This not gonna happen but it'll be nice if there's sequel to this movie tho.

The show was good in itself, but the creators slacked off for the ending, especially building the character that the male main character rejected Jun for. Lots of characters are lacking and voices could be better. The storyline is amazing  though, so I recommend.
