The Last Summoner

A talented young cook's encounter with a hungry girl who popped up in his kitchen changes his ordinary life forever. Dora, a summoned spirit and a truly cute goddess, now calls him master. However, he is not interested at all and is trying to do everything he can to get away from the ghostly figure. As fate would have it, when he becomes a summoner by accident, there is no turning back in life.

Possibly the stupidest anime I've ever seen. It feels like the story was designed for small children, while the jokes feel like they were written for adults/older teens, and the characters have no depth. It's like someone made an AI watch the 3 worst isekai from every possible category and then had it write it's own based on what it saw. It's as if the writers couldn't decide whether to make the main character a complete buffoon, a clueless but lucky moron, or a resolute tactician. He's ALL OVER THE PLACE.And then there are the antagonists. There are some solid ideas, but the execution of those ideas was utterly hopeless and fraught with endless plotholes. For example, at one point the cat morphs into a catgirl - okay, normally that would be fine. EXCEPT THAT IT WAS PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED THAT THE CAT AND THE CATGIRL ARE TWO DIFFERENT BEINGS! That the cat is a summoner, and the catgirl is the summoned creature... And if the catgirl is a summoned creature then how is her brother a (human?) summoner? Maybe it's explained later in the story but I don't know. And then, if the cat is the summoner, and the catgirl is the summoned creature, why is the cat suddenly scared of the protagonist because of the summoned catgirl's anger? And then the catgirl's rampage is explained - apparently she only did it because she wanted to catch her long-lost brother's attention... Okay, fair, but then why was she acting like she was the protagonist's enemy and why did that effect how the cat felt? This feels like a story written by a young child was handed to a team of professional animators who were then told "make it work but stay faithful to the story - add nothing, just animate it". Overall, the most poorly conceived, inexcusably disjointed, unbearably cringey isekai I have ever seen. At least most cringey isekai knows what it wants to be. At least most disjointed isekai are episodic and each episode has a good individual story, or at least solid characters. At least most anime with a stupid storyline succeed at being comedies. But this one... It tries to be everything, and therefore succeeds at nothing.Don't waste your time. The studio that produced this should be embarrassed.
