Both anime have school kids with special powers. In Telepathy Shoujo Ran it is kept a secret from others where in To Aru Kagaku no Railgun they are actually in school to make their powers better. Both have similar love hate characters and just wonder on to episode to episode not really going anywhere. Check one out if you liked the other.

Both series follow a group of school children with supernatural abilities. Both also feature several characters who are generally considered to be love or hate types. The main difference is that in Telepathy Shoujo Ran the children keep their powers a secret, whereas in Railgun the children are at a school specifically designed to enhance their powers.

Cardcaptor Sakura

Cardcaptor Sakura

Sakura Kinomoto never imagined that by opening a book in her father's library, she'd be responsible for releasing wild magic into the world, yet that's exactly what she did. Too powerful to be let loose on the world, the magical Clow cards were sealed away long ago by their creator, Clow Reed. But all is not lost, for the guardian beast, Keroberos, was sealed along with the cards! Can Sakura, with the help of Keroberos, retrieve the cards before they wreak havoc on the town?

There are many similarites that I found in both of these animes.

Both Ran from Telepathy Shoujo Ran and Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura are magical girls. Though Sakura uses magic from cards where Ran uses just her own powers, it's magic nonetheless.

They have a good friend that know the magical secret. Even their older brothers know about it all!

But Ran and Sakura aren't the only ones with magic. They meet a rival who, at first, are at bad terms with them but they soon becomes friends after some events.

If you're a fan of one of these shows, the other will be a good choice to watch.

Both series deal with the same topic  - "the hidden world" that co-exists with our world. Common people cannot hear strange voices, cannot see spirits and strange creatures, but the main characters can and are therefore destined to help them and to understand them. The only difference is that Natsume has to deal with them alone with his "cat" while Ran has a precious friend who has the same powers. If you liked one, be sure to check out the other.

Something sinister is growing in Academy City. The shadows are filled with whispers of a project to clone one of the super-powered students known as espers. High-ranking master of electricity Mikoto Misaka laughs off these stories until she comes face to face with a copy of herself. The duplicates are real, and are being mass-produced from Misaka's DNA, making each one of them a little piece of her. These clones - her sisters - are being systematically murdered in a series of experiments designed to turn a sadistic killer into the strongest esper in history.
