Pugyuru

Pugyuru

In a normal neighborhood in a normal city, a young maid arrives from the maid village to help out a young unnamed girl. But this battery-operated being is no ordinary maid! Not only can she remove her head and turn her body into glue (amongst other things), Cheko-chan also has the wackiest of friends. From Mizore, the edible snow spirit from the north, to Nachiko, a large squid who likes to change faces, to Kanato the Yankee, the bully who is the strongest of them all, it seems the craziness has just begun in the life of a once typical high school student.

Like these specials Pugyuru has plenty of random humor that would make you either go "huh?", laugh, or both at the same time. It might differ in the pace and the setting, but if you want something as random as this show but not so fast-paced then give Pugyuru a try!

Saki: Episode of Side A

When their close friend and fellow mahjong player Nodoka transfers away to Nagano, Shizuno and Ako worry they will never see her again. But, when the two see her on television a year later winning the Middle School National Championship, they revive the defunct mahjong club at Achiga High with the hopes of meeting her at the tables of the high school tournament. It won't be easy, as the competition is full of monsters like Saki Miyanagi who seem to warp the very laws of probability. Saki

Winning a game of Mahjong is hard; getting the same score every time is practically impossible. So imagine the surprise of the school Mahjong club when Saki Miyanaga walks in and does just that. Despite her dislike for the game, her talent is obvious and it's up to the club members - the top-heavy Nodoka, the energetic Yuuki, the cunning Mako and the permanently in control club president Hisa - to persuade her to join the club and help them reach the Nationals. But even then, will their combined skills be enough to overturn some of the toughest high school players the country has to offer?
