Teasing Master Takagi-san OVA

Karakai Jouzu no Sakai-san OVA is a pretty great standalone episode. It's based around the two main characters Nishikata and Takagi who go to a waterpark with their friends. Although it may sound like a "typical" OVA plot, there is nothing normal about this OVA - and that's in a very good way. It follows the typical plot of the series where Takagi tries to "tease" her crush Nishikata and vice versa.  The whole theme of the OVA is that if couples go down the huge waterslide together... when Takagi hears that she goes off to find a way to mess with Nishikata. By the end of the episode, we see not only how wonderfully beautiful youth is... especially when it comes to who we like and love. If you're a fan of the series then you'll enjoy this episode, but even if you haven't seen the series and wondering if this is a great jumping-off point? I'd say it's a great jumping-off point due to it's easy to follow premise, no real knowledge of the series is needed, and it sums up the entire feeling you'll get from the series.
