Both shows feature a slightly disfunctional lead protagonist who must deal with the world in his own inimitable style. Both shows showcase, in a fun and fast episodic short format, the unique characterization of the lead protagonist.

Tanaka-kun wa Kyou mo Kedaruge utilizes chibi format characters from the original Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge show and condenses that show's humor and style into very short comedic adventure episodes.  Tonari no Seki-kun's adventures are a little longer and thus more fleshed out.  But both will bring a smile to your face - either as you watch Seki fight boredom by creating amusing distractions, or as you watch Tanaka deal with his extraordinary listlessness.

For a quick and comedic peek into the unique lifestyle of a really quirky and memorable character, you can't go wrong choosing either of these shows.

During the impending escape attempt, both friend and foe alike can't help but break out in group dances galore!

Both of these shows are cute little watches that are suitable to be watched with others in your family.

There is comedy and something going wrong for the characters in each show.

If you need something to take your mind off a stressful day or need a quick break after a meeting, these are your show!
