Tanaka-kun is Always Listless

This anime is extremely cute. I love everything about it. Of course, if you're looking for action this is not the place to be and many have called this anime boring. I disagree. This anime is about Tanaka, and Tanaka is listless so what you expect? Watching his efforts to get through everyday tasks with minimal effort is very entertaining to me, and if you like that sort of thing, this show is for you. The characters are really cute and lovable, which is helped by their character design. Oota is like a mother figure to Tanaka, and their interactions form the basis of the show, without giving off the impression that the other characters are unimportant.  There's subtle humour in this anime, I feel like it flows easily throughout and there's no overused/exended jokes to get bored of. However there was nothing that really made me cry laughing, so I don't think the comedy is what has attracted me to Tanaka-kun. More than anything, I think this anime makes me happy because of the characters and the pretty animations, as well as the soothing atmosphere - helped by the music, which is always fitting with the mood. Overall I would definitely recommend this to slice of life lovers, or people who'd enjoy a happy and relaxing anime, but it is not for everyone. So, if you're looking for something that is super thrilling with lots of fan service; you've probably come to the wrong place.

This is very relaxing for those who is saying that this anime is boring then don't watch it this anime is meant to be like that it meant to make the viewers relax sometimes I even feel sleepy while watching this its the best anime if you want something relaxing or want to feel sleepy like literally Tanaka the main character of the series  is spreading his laziness like just watching him makes me sleepy and bored to move it's a good anime to watch when you have a bad day

It was such a relexing anime. Really nice to watch and everything just went at a nice and laid back pace. Usualy when there is no story progression or something in an anime I just find them to be slow or boring, but with this one there was no particulair goal, just getting to know the different characters and do some stuff that you would normaly not even find interesting in your own daily life, and yet they managed to keep me interested.  The simple animation style fitted quite well, and they put more attention into the background and stuff. In the endcredits there is this absolutely amazing looking grassfield accompanied by a relexing song. The grass in combination with that song kept me from skipping the outros like I usualy do. I would definately recommend this one if you have some time to relax or want to watch some anime while also playing a game on your phone or something.
