One last heist. That's what they all say, right? Just one final score, and everyone can retire and take up fishing. Thing is, the jails are filled with super villains who thought the same thing, and got busted. But the Heat's in a jam. He's run up the kind of gambling debt that - if he can't pay it back in cash - will be paid in blood. Nobody wants to see the most beloved supercrook of all time rubbed out by the mob - especially his biggest fan, Johnny Bolt. And Johnny's got a plan to help the Heat and make all his buddies disgustingly rich at the same time. Unfortunately for Johnny's recruits, they have to head to Spain and rob the world's most notorious super villain blind. And that's where things get tricky.

So basically I found out about this Suicide Quad/Justice League copycat type of show through listening to the 3 Trash Taste boys who were praising it a lot so I really wanted to check it out. Honestly I felt the show was just bone dry like I wasn't able to connect with the characters much, especially when it comes to not going deep on what they are as individuals. It's like Bones just made them into supervillains without context like back in the good old days where it's mostly the good guys always winning over the bad guys, even if it's in reverse. So badly rushed if you ask me... The art wasn't that great like it was blocky at times. I heard it was the same art as Great Pretender but let's be real, Great Pretender is 110% better personally. As well no offense to the singers of the OP or the ED but the songs were forgettable. I can't knock the voice actors like Kenjirou Tsuda among the others were really great with voices, it's just they needed dialogue to get the story going. Instead it just dragged on that made me want to badly tap the back button to find a better anime to watch. I normally don't do reviews of anime that have disappointed me since some people could be upset with my opinion but same time, I just feel that it is fair that I share my opinion to you all regardless if you like my opinion or not. Go ahead though if you want to watch it like some people who enjoy the superhero genre could possibly enjoy this even if I didn't!
Its not Great Pretenders good, but this show didn't disappoint - knocked it out in a day and enjoyed how the story flowed. I will admit its not perfect by any means - certain storylines seem rushed while others drag on but overall if you pay attention there is a lot to take in. The beginning has some interesting fight and chase sequences and the animation and art style are appealing, though maybe not too refined/polished. I do think that the chracters were lacking in this, in tems of in depth personalities and development which made the last episode and lead up to it seem a little jarring. Though I did enjoy the different types of supers we got to see - some were typical, while others were a total surpirse! I've always loved an antihero plotline and think the contrast between "hero" and "villian" in this is where they got to play around with the viewers perception of good vs. evil, which i like. The music was great through out the show, including the sound design. I did mainly watch the dub but i did enjoy all the voice actors from both versions. Kudos to the voice actors, becuase they kept you immersed in the plot. The intro and outro - both songs by Towa Tei set the mood. I'm not that good at giving reviews without spoiling things, so i hope this was helpful (~n.n~)
