Under the threat of terrorism, the world’s navy united as the Peace Keeping Navy (PKN); and though each country contributed an atomic submarine, Japan offered only one powered by diesel – the 707, otherwise known as Snapping Turtle. During the first meeting of the navy the terrorist organization known as the USR attacks and tries to take out the Apollo-Norm aircraft carrier, but at the last minute Captain Hayami sends the 707 in the path of the torpedo. Now, with a newly-commissioned 707 and two minisubs, Captain Hayami is back at the helm – and his sights are set on taking down the USR...

In the near future, an organization known as the USR threatens global security. Japan's 707R finds itself locked in a duel with the most advanced sub of the USR, led by a ruthless captain. An excellent OVA, reminiscent of The Hunt for Red October and other such films of the genre.
