Both anime feature a normal guy who gains Crazy power suddenly and seems to need women to help him unlock it.

Both have girls, action, and some fanservice.

DarkMagicianGirl DarkMagicianGirl says...

In strike the blood kojou has more familiairs. Godou has also more than 1. What not normal is in both worlds. Both the main chars need to develope those powers... With some help from girls. What brings both main chars in a lot of akward positions and problems. Both get a harem of girls. Godou need the girls to kiss him. On the other hand Kojou needs the blood of the girls.

If you like one of the you should watch the other. The storylines are differend but some ways fammiliar. Both the boys are almost similiar to the power of the gods.

manuueex manuueex says...

Both story are centered about a main character which is a normal teenage guy that got a lot of power after a sudden event, then they are surrounded by a bunch of girls.

Shadowblazen Shadowblazen says...

Both anime are about a boy who receives incredible supernatural powers in the form of familiar spirits/avatars and hold a political title as one of the most powerful people in the world (i.e. they aren't pushovers like some male characters in other romance or harem animes).

Each have a harem of female companions who have various combat strengths and magical abilities. There are quite a few kiss scenes in both anime, so be prepared for a suitable helping of ecchi and romance.

Both anime are based on light novels that take place in distinct story arcs. As the plot develops, more girls are added as companions and more intense magic-based action battles take place. Both anime are excellent examples of the "action harem" genre done right, so if you liked one, you should definitely try the other.

This 2 animes seams like 2 lighter werions of the Seikon no qwaser sires and ligther as far as i am concerned but holds the same  excitement one of my favs GREAT ANIME I wached all the 13 eps after another worth it.

FoggyEagle15 FoggyEagle15 says...

both protagonist have gained god like power. They are surronded by girls, and get a power up when he kisses them. Both stories have a lot of action and lots of kissing, but I won't lie, it adds to the romance and makes the protagonist a lot stronger. Strike the blood and campione make a good match for those who are into lots of action and harem type romances.

Crizy Crizy says...

Both main characters are usual students living with their younger sister, they suddently gain crazy abilities and are among the strongest people in the world.

These abilities are similar to familiars in both animes and have an animal shape. The main character owns a high number of these familiars and learns to use more of them over time.

In addition of being Action and Fantasy animes, Strike the Blood and Campione! are also related to Ecchi and Harem.

Finally both male protagonists are followed by a women who protects them and also falls in love with them pretty quickly at the beginning of the story.

In conclusion, Strike the Blood and Campione! have very similar stories if not the same and they are both also related to Action, Fantasy, Ecchi and Harem.

Both anime involve a special school for students with super powers. They both have a lot of action and a dash of ecchi fanservice. They're also both really well animated with nice looking fight scenes.

The plot of Railgun is a bit convoluted. Strike the Blood seems to be a little more straight forward. But if you want some pretty action with nice fanservice then try these titles.

Brad Brad says...

The setting for each of these shows is a special city that has been created by some mysterious people in order to house supernatural/superpowered beings. In Index’s case that would be humans with special powers, whereas in Striker the Blood it is designed to hold supernatural beings such as vampires and other demons. So as you can expect each show has the supernatural element at the forefront, as well as the conflicting religious groups to provide some conflict.

The animation in each is pretty decent, for the fight scenes especially. But to be honest, Strike the Blood isn’t really anything other than a fairly average rip-off of the Index series, doing most things in a similar, albeit less impressive manner. Saying that, most fans of Index will probably find something to like about this show, and those of you who haven’t yet seen Index are in for a treat by comparison.

Aggelos Aggelos says...

Both anime revolve around common themes (magic/religion in a "special city for the gifted" where the main character is somewhat extraordinary). They both unfold through various subplots, however, STB leans more towards the plain harem aspect, where TAMNI is all about the adventure.

duowolf duowolf says...

Both are man made areas where the people living there have special powers and the main characters are trying to solve mysterys consering the world they live in.

MrValgard MrValgard says...

Student city with superpower indiwiduals. TAMnI is more complex and better told story(with symbolism), but StB have also nice "cases" which they investigate. Good superpower action in both, and similar climate.

Both series has also same character designer, so they look similar. (even nicer females personality in Strike the Blood)

InvalidCookie InvalidCookie says...

Both Raildex (magical index and scientific railgun) and Strike the blood follows male students who live in "bubble cities". Strike the blood has a futuristic floating island, while raildex has an academy city.

Both leads have special abilities that put them apart from the normal people, as well as romance interest(s)

I'm making this rec based mostly on the fact that both anime have flashy well animated action scenes. The settings are similar as well. Both take place in a special city where people have various powers. Both shows have some ecchi fanservice but it's not so heavy as to take over the show.

Strike the blood has demons and vampires whereas K the people with powers are still normal humans. K's plot is very convoluted and isn't very interesting, but the show is more about the fluidly animated fight scenes.

Brad Brad says...

If you were a fan of either shows well animated fight scenes, and their settings where people with strange powers are all living together in a special city, then the other may have enough to warrant a watch. There's also a hint of fanservice in each if that's your thing.

The main difference is that in Strike the Blood, the characters are mainly supernatural in origin, so things like demons and vampires are the norm, whereas in K they are super powered humans.

In any case, there are enough similarities between the shows to make one worth seeing if you enjoyed the other.

Brad Brad says...

Each anime centers around a group of teenagers who are enrolled in a school, and live in a city that is specifically designed for people with supernatural powers. In Railgun it's humans that have extraordinary powers, whereas in Strike the Blood there's more of a fantasy element where the inhabitants are all supernatural beings such as vampires, but both contain magic users.

Both can be pretty serious when they want to be, but have their cute, fun sides as well, with a dash of fanservice added in for good measure. The action in each is also well animated, especially in Railgun.

Fans of one may find the other appeals to them.

Strike the blood was too long and tiring, with character developement lackking alot. Diabolik lovers is not for everyone but its all vampire and if that's what you like this is the anime to watch. The charcters espicially the vamires in someone can be relatable, while the main character is beautiful and good natured. The art and design is stupedest with a mixture of dark colors setting the mood for each character.

There is no comparison.  Of all 3 series, Strike the Blood has the most to offer with respect to the overly strong harem and suggestive sexual themes.  Strike has very little compared to Freezing and Testament.  It is a much better story and a more complete story.  Though the background is a tad murky.  Testament is a bit murkier.  What irresponsible parent would abandon home and deposit two dangerous strangers in it?  Why a Japanese anime parent of course.  Why not since so few anime ever have any parents in them anyway.  At least strike presents a slightly more reasonable setting and albeit an explanation of why parents may not be around.  The island is for the supernatural.  There is lots of magic in both.  All three center around a school setting.  All show some exposed female flesh or at least a suggestion of such.  All have a main male antagonist who is surrounded by lots of women some dangerous and out to kill him and some out to claim him.  But if you can only watch one, I would go with Strike.  It may not be as inticing a story as Seraph but it doesn't leave you constantly hanging for action that never occurs or say occurs only once a season if that.

Vampire Knight

Vampire Knight

Cross Academy is a school with a difference: in a unique and experimental setup designed by the headmaster, it has a Day Class consisting of ordinary humans and a Night Class filled with vampires. Yuki Cross and her friend Zero Kiryu are school prefects whose job it is to make sure the secret of the Night Class is always safe; they patrol the school grounds at night and supervise the switchover of classes at dawn and dusk to prevent any 'accidents' from happening. While Zero is suspicious of vampires and hates the idea of sharing the same space as them, Yuki admires the Night Class for their beauty and sophistication; she is especially intrigued by their charming leader, Kaname, because he once saved her life. However, as Yuki quickly learns, not all vampires are amiable like the Night Class, and as terrible events unfold, Yuki must ask herself whether in a world where vampires are the hunters and humans are the prey, peaceful coexistence can really be achieved.
