Anime in 200 Words: Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol LilpriPremise: Three little girls receive magical pets and powers, because they are the legendary little princesses of fairy land. Their task is to make people happy so they can suck the happiness right out of them and use it to recharge the magical world.Disclaimer: The irony presented in the premise was added by me; they aren’t devious in any manner. *sigh*Magical Girl: The girls transform into idols and SING! at their enemies. They get new clothes and are loved by the masses, and everything is wonderful... except...Rant: ...they interrupt people’s major life events for spontaneous concerts, and everyone is ok with it. Now, it could just be me, but if a trio of teen girls tried to upstage me at MY wedding, I’d be pissed. (And it would turn into a fighting anime, because I’d be kicking butt. We could call it “Wedding Fighto!” It would be a hit, I can tell.)Music: Catchy but annoying after a while.Overall: Lilpri is... well, it’s what I expected. Overly cute characters, whiny voices, and repetitive songs. There aren’t even villains! (At least not episodic ones.) Just skip this.
