This is a fairyly good anime. It has a good story line to it. I like that they are mostly sticking to one main goal and only go off on to little side stories. The animation of this anime is very good considering the year that is was made in. Also the characters have very good detail to it along with the scenery to it. I like some of the voices of the characters, this anime also has good music to it. I like most of the characters in this anime because they are really awesome people and also some of them are real badasses. So overall this is a really good anime.

The anime for Soul Eater wasn't really my favorite. I loved the characters, thought they were diplayed well. But the story was a bit off fromt he manga...and got a bit weird toward the end. I loved the manga so for the anime to be like it was...I was slightly disappointed.

I just liked the artistry and visuals that this anime had to offer. It had a Tim Burton Nightmare before christmas vibe or something like it in anime form. There was something so familar and cool about some of the animations that I had to keep watching it.

a near perfect show full of funny in jokes adn quirky characters that you cant help but fall in love with.  The story is full of information that drives the naritive and the few throw off episodes have a unique character added to the mix that has made more that a few people laugh at its mention.  The only thing hold this anime back is the cop out ending.  I meant seriously winning the finnal battle in that method after all the characters had been throught was just disgraceful.

Ahh soul eater, in all the anime's i've ever watched nothing has been able to beat it to this day... It's that good. The manga is very eichii but the anime isn't just so you guys know. So i'll jump right into it this time, the animation (if any of you have read the official review) has weird angles of shooting and that at times makes the characters look disproportional, but i believe it's all part of the style of the anime, having that whole horror theme to it the weird camera angles only makes it right, gives it a 'twisted' feel. The fight choreography is amazing, the way they animate the fighting scenes if very different although it's quick moving it doesn't make you dizzy, the movements are detailed as well smooth.

The way the weapons are used in this anime is also very unique, Maka's scythe, Black Star's dual scythes and blade and Kid's dual pistols are all being used very effectively in the show, speaking of weapons the show has a very good weaponry selection and the miesters who wield them are all well designed. After all, the weapons have to be good, it's a show about weapons.

The characters are all distinctive and rough in terms of creation, as in they have a few strong points that stand out very well in the anime, there is not such thing as a 'flat' character in this anime, all characters are well thought of and well represented, even the minor ones.

The Setting is beautiful in my opinion, as you know they carry the whole halloween theme through the whole way, making the streets dark and Harry Potter like, the school... i'm not even going to begin describing the school, but i will say i find is the most dramatic building in death city, but i think i can agree with many here that the best touch of all in terms of setting was the moon and the sun with faces, it reminds you in every scene about the eerie setting of the anime.

The clothing doesn't vary much but one thing i'd like to touch on is the facial features and the body shapes of the characters, Maka's face is round with her light pigtails to the side and is very skinny with long legs and big boots, showing she doesn't get out much, Black Star's face is angled to match this hair, he's very buff and short which promotes his hyperactive nature, Kid is also short but you can see in the show that he stands regally at all times, back straight chin up and all that, his facial expression is that of someone rich and of power. Overall the drawing focuses more on having sharp edges and cuts, making things look out of proportion on purpose because it fits the setting, and i believe that every character has a body and face shaped that way for a purpose of enhancing their personality.

The soundtrack is also pretty good, there's not such fighting music (i think) but the themes and endings are all good songs, plus they have character songs which i think are also done well, the songs in this anime are mostly rock or punk rock, but no screamo, the guitar and drums are pretty heavy on the soundtrack and the music could be at some point considered noisy, but yet again it's all art of your personal preference.

The story was on of the things that hooked me to the anime  the idea of humans turning into weapons was like no other i'd never seen, and the grim reaper, Shinigami-sama or "death" as he is called in the show is funny to the bone, you would have never expected him to look like that. One thing i really, really but tell anyone who wants to watch this show is that the romance in the show has been done better than any shojo you have ever seen, if you like shounen, but appreciate good romance, and if you're like me tired of all the cliché scenes and sparkles and flowers, soul eater is definitely the best. The romance has been stripped of all the blushing, tension, love triangles, romantic moments (somewhat depends on what you call romantic) all boiling down to undoubted love for each other, it's seriously really, really good and i'm not being dramatic here people it is genuinely well paced, well placed, simple and deep love, i take my hat off to the romance in soul eater, one of the best parts of the show.
