Fantasy tales of red-haired heroines who cut off their firey locks and journey far from the kingdoms they were born. Brave and full of self-determination, Yona and Shirayuki's adventures are worth following.
First of all the two main characters are alike and very similar to each other both are animes that i would recommend.
If you liked Akagami no Shirayukihime or Yona of the Dawn, you'd like the other because both are interesting and funny fantasy stories about cute red hair heroines that are loved by people around them not only for their beauty, but also for their personality and kind hearts. Both anime have romance theme are well produced with bright colors and are overally optimistic in their mood.
YES! YES! This anime is actually a very very very cute one and you can compare Zen with Hak because they both love Shirayuki and Yona respectively but they know their place and try to ignore that and protect them
Both show's are very different yet similar enough that you'll likley like both if you liked one.
The red haired heroine of similar age similarity was an obvious connection but serves as little reason outside of cosmetics on why both shows would be enjoyed.
Both Shows center around royal linage polotics and such and feature role reversals. Yona, grew up as a privilaged princes Banished frm her rule forced to live life as a commoner as she grows from being weak t a strong person worthy of beig called a leader.
Shirayuki on the other hand was acommoner that befriends a prince to a romantic level basically making herself an unofficial princess herself. She now sees privilages she never did before. She starts off as a strong whilled character and strives to get even stronger and not rely on the favor granted by the prince.
It has a strong female lead (both with red hair might I add), and both are set in a fantasy world. As well, both shows feature royalty and romance and have pretty animation.
Two stories that invlove a red-haried heroine who have troubles in their perfect lives, thus they set off on a grand adventure that will change their lives in amazing ways. Brave and self-determined these girls are worth watching.
Both Akagami no Shirayukihime and Yona of the dawn have two lady's who leave home under certain circumstances. And while Yona no Dawn has more of an adventure vibe, both anime are surprisingly awesome.Just watch and see if u life it.
These stories are unbelievabaly similar. Buth female protaganists with red hair (that dramatically gets cut in both stories) have to run away for different reasons and fall in love with their savior. Shirayuki and Yona both have similar personalities and the stories are in similar time periods.
The obvious reason: they both have red hair. Yona and Shirayuki are both very strong-willed and brave. Though, I've noticed that Yona was weak at first and became stronger later on, whereas Shirayuki started out brave and seems to slowly become weaker ( I can't be sure on this fact because I havn't completed the manga yet.)
If you liked one anime you would definatly like the other one becuase they are both similar while still being completely unique in their own way. Both take place in kingdoms and the main charcters are both female. Along the way they both find their prince charming. They have adventure and it's a lot of fun watching the characters fight through challenges and come out victorious. These two animes always kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to see what was goin to happen next. You'll love it. Trust me!
Both animes have a red-haired girl as the main character who are running away from their home land and because of their unusual hair color attract many attention along the way. Both story takes place in a royal kingdom with male characters protecting the girls. The main female characters are also similar, both are strong-willed and willing to do anything to make their dream come true. If you like one you will definitely like the other.
Loved both series though they have very different stories.
Akagami - kind of laid backand slow.
Yona - more action based and a more world view plot whereas akagami is interpersonal
Both with strong female leads with male supporting characters, both don't overky for us on romance and have more action and drama and have the romance as more of a sweet side
they both have similar main characters....yona's plot is stronger and more emotional...snow white is more happy feel good with half a cup of suspense
What they both have in common -
- Reverse Harem
- Princess stories
- Female leads have red hair
- Very Feminist outlookof being tough and working hard
- Shoujo
- Both end up cutting off their long hair as some sort of symbolism for not being portraid as a weak stereotypical girl. By doing this they gain more of a stronger outlook on life and take that experience as a turning point to define who they are, instead of always listening to the outsiders preconceptions.
Differences
- Yona of the Dawn has an asian inspired fantasy theme, while Akagami no Shirayukihime has more of a western like fairy tale theme
One reason why is because both of the main characters have beutiful red hair and have many people who would like to protect them. Even after this they feel a need to become stronger so they may be able to protect the ones they love. Within the whole story they are becoming stronger and often are lost with all the emotions they are feeling.
Both the plots revolve around red heads. If you love romance and fantasy these to are a good choice.
Yona of the dawn is recommended by me if you like snow white with red hair...its about girls power ....and the characters are real sweet ...
The percieved biggest resemblance that they are both red-heads who cut of their heir over-shadows the more important part, which is that the women in question is strong and willing to take risk for the good. The main characters in Akagami show a great sence of maturity and justice whereas some characters in Yona develop this over the course of episodes, which makes character development stronger. All in all are both to be recommended.
If you like the sound of young women going on adventures in the age of castles and sword-play, whilst having what is basically her pick of all the gorgeous men... then either of these shows are for you.
The heroines are very similar. Women that have to find their own inner strength and have bright, red hair. I really enjoyed both anime.
Remarkably similar down the color of the hair of the characters. Both feature women who's evolve to be stronger and more independent through being exposed to situations outside their experience.
These are both really well-written fantasy stories which feature a red-haired female protagonist who is intelligent and capable (or becomes capable). The main characters are concerned with justice and the right thing. Both also have lightly romantic pairings of noble and commoner, although the romance is perhaps more obvious/featured in Shirayukihime.
Both anime revolve around heroines in a pre-technology time period, with strong romances and multiple pairs to ship. If you're into romance anime and period anime these two you can't pass up. The heroines in these anime are strong and (for the most part) independant, both hold their values high and aren't swayed easily. A good change from the modern setting shoujo anime, but with all your favourite parts. No action, adventure, romance and fantasy foresaken. Enjoy.
Both animes have a red haired character!
Both shows have a strong female lead who are very compassionate and caring towards other. In addition, they had a relatively happy life until a certain incident changed their lives completely.
Both have the obvious red haired female lead. Both have strong women characters that don't need a male to save them. Both have beautiful animation and stories.
Both protagonists have red unique hair that is significant symbols for the characters. Also, both anime have the same kingdom and royal setting.
Strong red headed female lead. What's not to love!!! Dabble in some romance and adventure... these two animes make for a great binge. Both with great character development.
It's just like that for me. These two animes are so good they have earned a place in my top five animes. I don't know how to explain it, but if you like one of them you'll totally like the other. If you love shoujo anime that's a little on the romantic side
Both shows feature a main character with bright red hair. Both girls dislike this unique part of their bodies and it spurns beginning conflicts in each anime. The girls are forced to run away from the comfort of their homes because of this conflict. After finding support in other lands, they each take on a profession not normally seen in women of their times, and fight to make the world a better place.
They're both about strong women with incrible stories to tell. I was drawn into both shows for different reasons but the reason why I like both of them is for the characters and their relationships.
Both series have strong female leads who are thrown into new environments. The leads have to learn new things quickly because they are often tangled in things that aren't in their control. The characters are diverse and interesting. The romance is very cute and builds well. Overall, both are very good series.
There is no reason for you not to watch this anime. The female also cut their hair as a symbolism of their strength so yeah.
BOTH
1. Determined female leads with their own strengths and dreams
2. Unusual appereances
3. Palace politics and conflicts
Both anime feature a girl who is recognized by the world exclusively for her bloodline and she seeks to prove to everyone that she is capable of achieving great things based on her own merits. The girl coincidentally has radiant crimson hair in both cases.
Yona of the dawn is actually better but incomplete. Strong girl, supported by a strong guy rather than overpowered. Good looking characters. I was swooning over Hak.
Hi guys :)
If you liked snow white with red hair(Shirayuki no hime) you probably like yona of the down. yona totally look like Shirayuki. They have red hair and want improve their self and they have a lot of emotion. And hopefully yona have a lover like Hak :))) you can watch gender romance in yona of the down too.
Shirayuki didn't want be useless and she tried every day to be best of herself like yona. Yona didn't want weak too.
And i promise if you liked Shirayuki you like yona. Yona is amazing, just whatch it then you add it in your favourite list ׬×
both anime portray strong female lead characters. and while one is in a more realistic setting and the other's a little more magical, both show hardships, happy moments,...
If you like one of them you will the other to.Snow white... is a anime that shows how love and royal status is diffecult but worth fighting for in a short version.Yona of the dawn is more about the princess who learns about the world after a terible act of another, and fights to survive and the people she meets and loves.
I didn't realize I'd make such a long review but here's a shortened version:
Yona of the Dawn is similar to Snow White with the Red Hair in the sense that they're both shoujo anime about a red haired FMC who lives in a fantasy world. Yona of the Dawn is HILARIOUS and the storyline is really good as well so I think you'd enjoy it if you liked Snow White with the Red Hair.
(HERE'S SOME MORE DETAIL)
Both Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn) and Akagami no Shirayuki (Snow White with the Red Hair) are some of my favorite anime shows that I've watched so far. I actually found Yona of the Dawn after looking for some recommendations for shows like Snow White with the Red Hair, and I absolutely love it! (definitely top three for me) Both shows are shoujo anime which follow the story of a courageous red haired girl and take place in a fantasy setting. Yona of the Dawn is about a young princess who was banished from her kingdom and sets out with her childhood friend to find the four dragons. While Snow White with the Red Hair is really good, I feel like Yona of the Dawn DEFINITELY tops it with hilarious characters, beautiful artwork, and a great storyline (and it's so underrated!). I really think you'd enjoy the show and/or manga if you liked Snow White with the Red Hair! :)
Both feature kindhearted mc's who have to adapt when their situations in life suddenly change. The red hair that makes them stand out in the eyes of others is a repeating motif and they also aren't the stereotypical helpless, clumsy, head-over-heels-for-the-main-guy kind of female which I really appreciated. Yona has more action/quest while snow white is more romance. Both set in a medieval-feeling time.
both include strong and independant main protagonists with beautiful red hair that they themselves chopped off. they plots differ HEAVILY but still very enjoyable both ways
Both these royal and fantasy animes feature red-haired female protagonists who've been pushed out of their homes in different ways. They both have similar relationships with a significant other, making them both romance animes. The protagonists share similar personalities and scenes regarding their hair, and both develop from soft to stronger people.
Both Fantasy anime's that have a red-haired heroine. I literally could go on and on about the many ways why if you loved one, you will absolutely love the other, but in short, these are anime's that I would recommend to ANYONE.
They both have passionate, fiery protagonists with red hair, who are forced to flee their kingdom. They're both shoujo romance anime, and both have a loveable cast of side characters. The comedy is also similar.
Both animes have strong-willed female leads while the male leads want to protect the female lead.
When someone first recommended Yona of the Dawn to me,I mistook it for Snow White with the Red Hair. I watched Snow White with the Red Hair twice and when I had a conversation with the person who recommended me Yona of the Dawn. We talked about two different animes without even knowing since there appearance looked really similar and the plot was kinda similar too. Like when they both were forced to run away from home.
(I'm not very good at writing)
The Redhead Snow White isn't a adventure in the same sense as Yona, but I do enjoy that it has some similar elements. They both have something closer to a Joesi theme, in that nothing is dramatic for the sake of being dramatic. They feel more mature and chill, and I love that, but they still have a bit of fantasy and adventure that makes you curious to the setting and the MC's place in that world. Also although both MC's have the right to the Damsel-in-Distress role, they do still keep independent and try to defend and live life by their own lead. They're just surrounded by nice people who are always trying to help. Both shows show hardships i think with a bit more of a realistic setting, not super angsty or dramatic for their personalities or background. All the characters are very lovable.
Both anime center around the female lead and the heroin, who faces harsh realities / trouble at the start of the anime and start to develop and grow from them over time. Both anime show is such short time (12 episodes) vast character grwoth and the strength both female leads get.
Both are obviously more historical drama's where both protagonists are red-heads but there is a bigger fous on 'slice of life' elements in Snow White eith the Red hair than in Yona of the Dawn, where there is a big focus on the emotional tumoilt and the adventure.
BUT atleast you get a bit more of the romance element in SSnow white with the REd Hair than in Yona.
Both are great anime to start easing your wy into anime, or just to have a fun and niche anime experience.
I totally can guarantee the enjoyment you will get from both anime as Both anime are continuesly being revisited by me and hold a very special place in my heart!!!
youna is more focused on action while other focused on romance but both are good for me i find the snow white with red hair more interesting but youna is pretty good too
If you are looking for strong female leads, look no further! Both of the main protagonists have their worlds completely turned upside down, but they crawl their way back up, making new friends along the way! Lots of laughs as well as some heart reaching moments.
This is due to the fact that the red hair is a major point of the story. Also the main characters are very similar. Yona is more direct in her actions and it takes you to get to the true essence of the character. than it does in snow white, She is already at the point where she has overcome obstacles.
Red headed protagonists who try to change things for the better or improve things and are kinda clumsy.
Both Yona (Yona of the Dawn) and Shirayuki (Snow White with the Red Hair) are strong female leads. Yona is both physically and mentally strong, Shirayuki being mentally and scientifically strong. They both run away from an unhappy marriage, fall in love with someone of differing status.
More personality-wise, they're both red-ish hair colored, stubborn, and a bit of a clutz. Shirayuki is a commoner falling for a prince, and Yona is a princess falling for a knight.
Yona of the Dawn is definitely darker, but still, I recommend both.
I loved snow-white with the red hair their relationship and how they get closer in every episode is so adorable and this one isn't cringe or gives you second-hand embarrassment.
They're both about girls who take their lives into their own hands, and don't let some stupid, man control them. They end up falling in love with men who support them, and help push them to be the better versions of themselves. They go on adventures, and pursue their dreams. They also both happen to chop off their long, red hair.
They're both about a strong young woman on a mission plus they have gorgeous men around them. There's romance, drama and great story!
they just give off the same vibes + are both 'prince/princess x 'skilled worker'' type vibes lol
Nike, the fourth princess of the Principality of Rain and one who holds the power to call forth the rain, travels to the Sun Kingdom to marry Sun King Livius for her country, despite her own reluctance. She soon discovers that the King, who conquered the world in only three years after his ascendance to the throne, is still a child!! Furthermore, for trivial reasons, he has demanded that Nike call forth the rain…!?

I recommend this anime because it tells a love story of a girl with lesser status and someone from the royal family.
These two anime have several things in common....dashing royal? Check. Strong female lead? Check. The female lead travels from a different land? Triple Check. Both animes have a somewhat similar setup. If you like the formula then your in for a treat.
Both of these shows are beautiful, innocent, and fulfilling romances featuring a strong-willed, independent woman from a foreign country who tries her best to solve her own problems, and a member of the royal family (king or prince) who recognizes and supports her need to be herself. Both women face citizism and opposition because of their lower status, and they both do everything in their power to ensure that the people around them accept them and their relationship. These shows are both sweet and wonderful and if you liked one I'm sure you will like the other.
They both have world politics, romance, and awesomeness. Both have strong girls as main characters that fall in love with a king/prince. The world is still beautiful is a bit more serious, though. Both are equally amazing.
Both anime have a heroine who is strong and from a lower status than the hero. In Soredemo, Nike is a poor princess, n in Akagami, Shirayuki is a commoner with red hair. Both of them fall in love with a royal prince/king, who loves them too in return. Both anime have pure, innocent romance, n comedy too. (And even though this isnt really important, both princes/kings' have at least 1 parent dead. Lol) I totally recommend one if u watched the other.
Snow White was the first thing that popped into my head as I watched The World is Still Beautiful. It really does share the same feeling. The relationship between the two lead characters and their trials as well as how that relationship develops are quite similar. The princess to be in both shows is both a foreigner with rare and unique traits from both the kingdom she is now in and from her own people. The princesses are brash, with strong personalities, and high morals which neither is afraid to express even to the highest authories. People in their respective series are easilly charmed by her and even enemies often totally change their personalities and views once those princesses get involved with them. The lead male royal in both shows are both spoiled and cold relative to the world and those around them. You get the impression they are almost like zombies and dead inside but are awoken by the intevention of a princess/queen to be. While they are both very capable male characters, very strong, and great leaders with their own kind of charm, they lack the understanding of the people themselves and their own emotions.
Both protagonists come into the life of their love interest with abilities that are very helpful to the people around them. Also, both of the anime have the same kingdom setting.
They both have a similar plot, and more importantly a similar atmosphere. Easily binged over several days, nothing to horrible in the second-hand embarassment department, little drama and no really stupid misunderstandings.
both take place in a fantay kingdom and have similar atmospheres of comedy, romance, and light hearted fun hightened by the ocasional serious challeges they overcome. If you like one you will DEFINATLEY like the other.
the animation, character development, and love story was absolutely beautiful. Truly a delight to watch and can cot possibly recomend enough.
Both are romance animes that touches the heart with its beauty and the both main couples depends on one another in some way as they cross difficulties.
Both anime feature a young woman with strong skills leaving their home country to live in the castle of another. They each develop a relationship with the nobility in the castle. Together, both anime show a simple and charming romance flourish between the prince/king and the young woman. Both shows are generally lighthearted with serious moments poking through.
Both of these shows are beautiful, innocent, and fulfilling romances featuring a strong-willed, independent woman from a foreign country who tries her best to solve her own problems, and a member of the royal family who recognizes and supports her need to be herself. Both women face criticism and opposition because of their lower status but they both do everything in their power to ensure that the people around them will accept them and their relationship.
Beautiful romance stories plus the ending theme song for this anime is so soothing and wholesome!
Snow white with the red hair has a good story line and there are small jokes thrown around here and there that make it great. This is the same with The world is still beautiful. The world is still beatiful also includes humor here and there and the way the story is put out is nicely done in my opinion. What even better is both animes have suttle relationships between the protagonist (This is mostly on romantic relationships) which make for a good outcome and nothing to dramatic between the lovers. Sure, here and there there are problems but over all its for the plot.
Sei, a 20-year-old office worker, is whisked away to a whole new world. Unfortunately for Sei, the ritual that summoned her—meant to produce a “Saint” who would banish the dark magic—brought two people over instead of one. And everyone prefers the second girl over Sei?! But this is just fine by Sei, who leaves the royal palace to set up shop making potions and cosmetics with her newfound magic. Business is booming, and this might not be such a bad life, after all…as long as her supposed Sainthood doesn’t come back to haunt her.
Both are fantasy anime series about a woman with a talent for herb craft. If you like one, you might enjoy the other as well.
Both of these shows have similar vibes. Our main character works with herbs and falls in love with someone who is above their station. Both just want to do their work in a fantasy setting with royal family drama.
They are a relaxing watch and are highly recommended.
Sei and Shirayuki have several similar characteristics, they are both herbalists, caring and want to help others, have a desire to learn, and are rather independent. The connections between these characters make for a similar vibe but the story line is different which keeps things interesting. They both feature romance and a fantasy world.
both the series has many similarities like the cute confident and awesome female protagonist the difference only comes in the isekai field saints magic power is omnipotent is a better choice for people loving transported to other world category
but snow white with the red hair is equally good with mature romance and cute moments
Both of these animes have a single person that the girls fall in love with. There are others who like the girls, but don't outwardly say it. Also, and most importantly in my opinion is that they both revolve around finding love. Though the "Saint" has magic and "Snow White" does not, if you like one, then you will definitely like the other.
This shoq gave me such snow white with the red hair vibes! Both of the main characters studdied herbs in a medeval time and blossomed feelings with a prestegious figure. Both are adorable.
both main characters have intrest in medicinal herbs. both include a romance. and both have a fantasy setting. they are both awesome anime that i highly recommend.
Both have a strong femalelead and is a great anime. They both have romance in it and they both like plants and herbs. I would watch both of them.
Both FL study herbs and look to become better at healing others. They both are caring and sweet, and the people around them are similar. Including the love instrests, who are from noblilty/royalty. The only real differences I notice are the monsters and magic use in "the saints' magic is omnipotent"; and the fact Sie is brought from another world.
This is probably the most wholesome isekai anime! There's romance, magic, comedy and slice of life. Absolutely love this. Have watched it 3 times in the past year!
The protagonist is a mild-mannered woman who becomes highly enthusiastic when it comes to herbs and potions. She doesn't care about social standing and is able to become friends with all manners of people. The story depicts a very natural and slow-brewing romance.
the differences are mostly active plot.
both are really wholesome but Snow White with the Red Hair is more politically involved and there's definitely more action.
The Saints Power is Omnipotent gives the FL cracked abilities but she just wants a normal life. There is a little political drama but it's more romance focused
they are both so cute. very wholesome. both female main characters are strong women and work with medicinal plants
This is the first anime that I've found to be so similar to Snow White with the Red Hair, both revolve around a strong, brilliant heroine who finds love along her journey.
Chise Hatori was a child nobody wanted. Told by her own mother that she should never have been born and passed from one neglectful guardian to the next, the young girl has grown up feeling lost, hopeless, and emotionally numb. At age fifteen she sells herself into slavery, desperate for a home where somebody - anybody - actually wants her to be there, and is purchased by a mysterious being with a skull for a head. He whisks Chise off to his home in England and introduces her to a world of talking animals, dragons, and faeries, declaring that she is to become his apprentice in magic... and also his bride!
These anime feature young, red-haired apprentices who learn and grow and they work to improve themselves and determine their place in the world. The lands they live in are also quite lovely.
The main character girl looks like this main character girl. Maby they might have something in common!!
Beyond the obvious appearance of the main character is the tone of the show. Both shows have a very feel good overtone. While Magus' Bride deals with magic and more of a fantasy element Akagami has a medieval setting that doesn't feel far from the fantasy realm. The interactions between the characters is also similar, as is the way the main protagonist adapts to life in a new setting and is welcomed by the other residents. Both are great shows, well suited for anyone looking for something more relaxed and warming.
The plot is very different.
But if you like a cute and easy going love story (yet a bit different) you’ll definitely like this one.
one of my absolute favorites
highly recommend
Both are shoujo shows which feature a red-haired apprentice who is learning and improving themselves as the show progresses. They also have stunning backgrounds and a similar feel so if you liked one you should give the other a try, even if their plot is different.
They both have hardships as much as romance. How falling in love is hard as much the hardships of a relatioship because of being different.
two utterly beautiful stories about a girl that dose not quite belong but after meeting a new person she finds a place that she can really call home and people thet she can really call friends. Also they both are just beautiful to look at from an artistic point of view and animation piont of view
I dunno they seem pretty hand and hand to me.
But there are some pretty big differences that might not exactly be for everyone that likes one or the other.
So honestly if you do like one of these you won't necessarily like the other.
Both red head characters are very kind and determined for their set goal in life. Meeting new people, and abandoning their home town is what the main characters have to face from the beginning. Both shows fantastic actions and everyday laughter and tears with a bit of love complexity in between...
Starring Red haired herbalist power girls in both................and whole load of magic.
I feel like if you start it you will totally understand why. Not only does the main characters both have very visible similarities but the plots both have very mystical feel from both anime.
Besides the fact both the main characters look alike, both animes have the same theme, fantasy, nature, the basic second leads. When I first started snow white (...), it reminded me of the ancient magus bride constantly.
The female leads and art style are similar. Both have a fantasy theme as well. However, snow white is definitely lihhter to watch.
In an ancient and mythological land called Saiunkoku, the people have begun to recover from a period of war and famine; thus, when an official from the imperial court offers the impoverished and beautiful Shuurei more money than she could ever dream of in return for a favor, she jumps at the chance. What she doesn’t count on, however, is being asked to become a concubine to the recluse Emperor and help him transform into a better leader. What’s more, the Emperor shows little intelligence, seems to have no interest in ruling, and is rumored to prefer men. One thing’s for certain: Shuurei has her work cut out for her!

Both of these shows are about a strong, caring, talented, and brilliant woman who develops a close friendship with a member of the royal family (prince or emperor), and who desires to be an employee of the court. Both women are adament about forging their own path and accomplishing their goals using their own power instead of their relationships with influential people, and both men attempt to win the woman over using their personality instead of their position. In each show, the women assist in crises that arise in the kingdom and earn the respect of those around them. If you liked one show for the heroine, the romance, and the interpersonal relationships, then you will like the other.
Set in ancient times, both shoujo series are stories of royal sons who meet hard-working, independant women with whom they fall in love.
both female protagonists are independent, strong-willed, smart, educated women who have very close relationships with a prince/king, works in the royal court and dignified in their ways, earning the respect of the guy friends of the prince/king and many other bishounens, also involving lots of romance element mainly revolving around the prince/king, however both female characters also gain attention from lots of other guys in the anime
Both have strong female leads that become involved with a Prince and allow the Prince to experience real friendship and love becuase of who they are and not because of their title.
It's very similar in a way where the main girl protagonists falls in love with the prince/King, and while she works and studies hard to achieve something great of her own, King works hard on his duty to "impress" the girl. In the end they fall in love of course, how ever, the story does not end with them marrying. Though its the first season.
They have a lot in common. The main heroine wants to pursue her dream no matter how difficult it may seem sometimes.
BOTH
1. Determined female leads with their own strengths
2. Leads work towards their dreams with the support of the male lead
3. Palace and discrimination conflicts
Both are happy romance anime. They have a very similar feel. Both possess a female lead with strong heart.
Again, strong and smart girl, supported by a bunch of handsome, smart and strong guys but don't put a shadow over her.
both portay a strong female lead character. they both face hardships but overcome them. and during this story they find love.
Love both of this and if you love one you must love the other too.The story of saiunkoku season 1 is the best but i think that bacuse i saw it in dub and the second season dosent have a dub version.snow white... is about love and what it meens to have a royal status.

They're both shows about girls who run away from home to pursue their dreams. They both have female leads and follow a typical shoujo story. The tags are also very similar
Like Shirayuki, Arte leaves her home to pursue her own dream. They both ended up cutting their so that they could prove something. The time period is also somewhat similar because of nobility and all. They also have beautiful art styles and scenery which look similar. Although their roles are somewhat swapped, because Shirayuki is a commoner, whereas Arte is a noble, who gives up her life as a noble to pursue her dream.
Both shows have a female protagonist who go as far as possible to make their dreams a reality. They also have a similar vibe and, while arte has no romance, fans of one will definitely like the other one too.
Both of these shows have a strong female character who fights to achieve her dreams of independence.
Both have female protagonists that have to overcome odds and even suppress romance or romantic feelings to achieve their own dreams. They both have similar feel-good easy-going story, humour, and interactions of the people around them. they have similar animation style and attention to detail, from clothing to backgrounds. They both have excellent music tracks. Both MC's take journey's and move around their respective worlds, and both are specialised in one area of work that they want to perfect. I really like these type of series being made in the last few years and I can't wait to see more like these two!
They both have the same setting, they also have the same mood and the tags are very similar. and both are about the female protaganist running around exploring town and following their dreams.
Arte and Snow White with the Red Hair are quite similar in that it features the female protagonists taking it upon themselves to change their fate and pursue their dreams in their respected fields. Although both shows have various conflicts, they both have an overall quite upbeat tone to their stories.
both have a simular story lines, like the location and and vibe. overall they're both an okaie watch ¯\_( ◉ 3 ◉ )_/¯
they r both slice of life shows with an MC who wants to live life in their own way. They both dont want to be tied down to what others expect of them
They're both essentially about the FL becoming free and finding themselves and how they want to live. They're both such good animes and they aren't too long.
Both stories are about hard-working girls, who try their best to succeed. The artwork is nice in both of the and the stories, however simple, are still engaging.
Nanami used to live in a ramshackle apartment with her father - a man who spent half his time gambling and the other half hiding from debt collectors - until one day the scoundrel ran away, leaving his daughter hungry and homeless. That is, until she meets a mysterious stranger in the park who deems her the new goddess of a local shrine! Unfortunately, Nanami’s new home is occupied by Tomoe, a fox familiar who objects to the presence of a mere mortal and immediately begins to bicker with the girl. If she can manage to form a contract with the troublesome man, he’ll be obligated to accept and help her perform her duties. But there’s a catch: Nanami has to kiss him first, and who’d want to lock lips with that awful guy?!
Both animes involve strong-willed girls who find friends and romance in a new place. Kamisama Hajimemashita follows Nanami on her way to being a land God and falling for her familiar. Snow White with the Red Hair is more of a classic love story, but they do put a spin on it by giving the heroine more of a voice and independent spirit! Overall, both of these animes are great romances and I'd recommend one if you like the other.
the female characters are strong and fight for what they want. Both are romantic stories with different stories.
they both have wonderful story lines, Along with a romance that plays a huge role in the story.
This animes are a bit alike in how two different worlds are seen by the characters. Along with how they go through there troubles.
They both involve a romance with inhuman(demon esche) characters. As well as the main characters both becoming stronger and showing lots of determination.
Because the are cheesy romantic and light-hearted. Also, they have good stories and more than one season! so you don't need to worry about the stories ending too soon
Well. Both of them had a very interesting plot, and characters like Tomoe the fox spirit and Shirayuki with red hair. I liked better Kamisama kiss because it was very unique and the love story was amazing, but Snow White with the Red Hair is definitely a must watch
If you're looking for romance but with an amazing supernatural story then this is the one! So wholesome and addictive.
I love these kind of shoujo anime. Very feel good and has me like a giggling school girl. I would recomend both to anyone

If you like Romeo and Juliet then check out Akagami no Shirayukihime. Both story's have that fairy tale imagery. Akagami no Shirayukihime is kind, romantic, and draws you in. An Romeo and Juliet are the same exact way. And while Romeo and Juliet is more of a tragic romance both stories are similar. Both have that connecting line.
Well I like the fairy tale feature they share. Alsoboth are historic fantasy about the relationship between a prince and a girl his stumbles upon. True the stories quite differ from each other, mostly at the fact that one is a tragidy while the other isn't I still think they have thinks in common, enough to make me watch the other
If you liked Romeo x Juliet or Akagami no Shirayukihime, check out the other for more romance set in a fantasy world. Both have great fairy tale atmospheres with determined female protagonists.
Still didn't really felt like typing something, cause I'm not the only one and does really anybody read this? not that I mind but I never do so.
But well both are really great romance story's and I recommend them both RomeoxJuliet who doesn't know it from William Shakespear, but well this is with a little twist still a tragic end though Oh no spoilers!!! And well, Akagami no shirayukihime also snowwhite with the red hair, it is not something like snowwhite if you watch it for that don't because it is not a anime variation on it but it is still very lovely!!
I think that you liked either one of these animes you might like the other one. They are similar in that they are a type of romance animes. Also they have two unlikley characters that fall in love with each other and they would do almost anything for each other no matter the cost to them selves.
very simalar story structure and animation style plus both have very similar and pretty well written charaters

Both shows are a slice of life. While the stories are different. They feel very similar in how they tell a story and show romance blooming.

The heroine of both these stories are plucky, independent young women who strive to make it on their own without being beaten down by whatever live throws at them.
Both of the main characters go into different worlds than their used to. For Shirayuki in Snow White with the Red Hair it's the world of nobles and royalty. For Aoi in kakuriyo, it's a completely different realm all together
If you loved Kamisama Kiss then this should be next on your watchlist! It's mature romance and wholesome story.
YESSS these are some of my favorite shows! Both have similar feels and both just left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside after every episode

Of course both anime aren't similar in sense of setting, but they are in their kind of love story. In both anime the protagonists fall in love slowly and sweetly. The anime spend a lot of time getting to know the characters and how they interact with eachother while we see how the main characters slowly move towards eachother and fall in love.
Another similarity is the characters of the main characters. Shirayuki and Misaki are both very sure of themselves and they are independent women just like Zen and Usui are so sure of themselves and how they go after the women.
both have greet romance stories, ones that you don't find easily. if you don't watch both you are really making a mistake
While the setting and premise for these shows are very different, these are two of the most incredible and fulfilling romance animes I have seen. In each of them, a strong willed and fiercely independent girl wants to create a life for herself without depending on others for help. The girls are talented and intelligent and carve their own path despite significant obstacles placed in their way. The main love interest is a guy who is incredibly talented, wealthy, and independent in his own right, and falls for the girl because of her drive, skills, and motivation. The main characters relationship grows as they support and encourage each other, helping each other through difficult times, while allowing the other person to stay true to themselves and their desires. If you liked one of the shows for the absolutely beautiful romance and healthy relationship, then you will like the other.
I adore this anime! Contains complex characters driven by more than just romance, and the music, voice acting, and animation are fantastic, too. Compelling as both a romanch and adventure anime.
Both these shows are super good and the couples are SUPERRR CUTE!!! I highly recommend both shows!
