SK8 the Infinity - Reviews

I really like "SK8" but again like "Yuri!! on Ice" why is this not categorised as a BL it totally has the potential to be!

It is really a sweet story and it is so cool that you feel you are there yourself! <3

I was very skeptical about this anime since I didn't really like the premise. Somehow the plot revolving around skating seemed boring to me and I was very reluctant to watch it. My friend however convinced me to give it a try and I think it was worth it. The entire anime is easily digestible, the main characters are cute and friendly and the scenery is beautiful and surprisingly detailed. The story is not very involving but it's good enough to keep watching.

I love it!!! It's one of my favorite animes, it's very funny and I love the main characters! "Reki, mi love... of skateboarding" I laugh a lot in that part!

I didn't have any high expectations for this show, overall I thought that it would be a cute chill anime for some relaxation, but it suprised me. I thought that the story wasn't interesting at first but when I continued watching it became more interesting and wasn't just a skating story.

The animation is just great and I love it already! It's very good-looking!

Sounds are very great and personally, I think that they were pretty realistic and enjoyable. Although, I think that I spotted a few parts where I got confused but it doesn't matter. 

Characters are very humanily and well-potrayed! We have out main- Reki, he is very interesting and you can relate to him in so many ways. Then we have Langa - and absolutely amazing character, not only at skating, but overall (I do like Reki more though). Cherry and Joe - strong, good characters, with amazing personalities. Miya - a 13 year old boy, that isn't only very well-written, but very cute! Shadow - comedic relief and Adam, who is like the villian in here - great character, but I think they put a little bit too much in him. 

Overall, 9.5/10 for now, let's see how it goes further on! I higly recommend this, it will give you very mixed emotions and it's perfect to watch with friends or just on your own! <3

Honestly the plot for this wasn't remarkiable in the slightest. It was predictable and overused and riddouslously over the top towards teh end, and to volient to be called a skating anime anymore by the end. The true and undeniable friendship between Reki and Langa in this was just amazing though. Many sports anime try to go for the drama angle for a bit of spice but it usually gets to be a bit dramatic but this was perfect. The only reason I'm not giving this a higher score is becasue of that thing (Adam) The fashion disaster insect that shall not be named. Truly an unpleasent experience, not to mention I wasnt invested in his story at all. Skipped all the office scenes with him and the NPCs.
