Angel Tales

Angel Tales

Goro Mutsumi is a young man that never seems to catch a break; he has a hard time keeping a job, has horrible luck, and continuously finds himself in bad circumstances.  However, things change one day when he comes home - having been fired yet again - and finds three young girls sitting in his apartment. They're the reincarnated angels of his deceased pets, and they're here to turn his luck around given how well he treated them in their past lives. While the idea sounds like a godsend, things don't go quite according to plan; the angels tend to cause more harm than good, and twelve altogether end up joining Goro's cramped household! In addition to learning how to co-exist with his newly acquired roommates, Goro must also defend them and himself against four sacred beasts who are after him for mysterious reasons. One thing's for certain: Goro's life will never be the same!

Faster moving, with a better defined plot, but still good for all ages.

Their are many similarities between Angel Tales and Sister Princess. They both feature a man who suddenly finds himself having to support not only himself, but also 12 girls/women who claim to have a past connection with him but offer little to know proof of this relationship. Despite this they choose to share a home with them and try to make them happy.

Both anime have a boy that suddenly becomes surrounded by tonnes of girls that want nothing more than to make him happy by any means. Angel tales is more fantasy as the girls are angels of his past pets where Sister princess is just about a boy who suddenly gets lots of sisters. Mindless cuteness and random acts of sillyness prevail! If you liked one check out the other.

It's every guy's fantasy.... to be living (as the sole guy) under one roof surrounded by gorgeous women who loves you and wants to pamper you and is ready to cater to your every need.... it's been done numerous times in the past but I guess some of us just can't get enough of it! They both have a consistently light and funny overtone. Allthough nothing of real great importance happens in any of these two animes, watching the day to day lives of the male protagonist trying to live his life together with a bunch of women usually leads to often humorous situations. Overall I liked happy lesson better because I thought it was funnier and the characters were more interesting but if you like one, you'll probably like the other as well. Or if you are a fan of this type of genre then I'm sure that you will definitely like these two series!

These are both very cute and warming harems, where the main character is a bit stressed over the females that he lives with. They are both lovely animes with just enough random events to keep you entertained. To me, they seem extremely similar.

What does an extremely siscon harem anime have to do with a slightly yuri gokusen anime? Incredibly both Sister Princess, and Gokujo Seitokai have quite a bit in common: unbelievable characters that are so extremely dissimilar as to be virtually impossible to collect together into a story, a cast which is a bit too large to effectively use in an approximately 23 minute long episode, obvious intentional plot holes that are supposed to pass for jokes, and a tendency to continue using a mediocre plot device after it is far past being useful. But hey, if you liked one series, then I can't see any reason why you wouldn't like the other.

This is a bit of a complicated recommendation. In Myself; Yourself, there is one arc that looks into the relationship between a brother and sister (twins in this case) which is very well done. If you liked the brother-sister relationships in Sister Princess, it may just be worth it to watch this series for more sibling closeness.

Futakoi

Futakoi

After his father decided to work overseas, Nozomu moved to the town of his childhood to attend school -- but this is no ordinary town! There is a legend that twins once loved a man so much that they turned into birds and flew away, and the abundance of twins to be found is the result. For Futami, having multiple twins who like him is a dream come true, but also a lot of work since they all want his attention! Now, with jealous fan clubs, sibling rivalry and an ornery goat named Billy to handle, Nozomu must try to win the affections of his childhood friends and new faces alike!

Sister Princess and Futakoi have a few similar themes though not the same reasons. Futakoi has many sets of twins trying to win over the feelings of the main male lead. Sister Princess is more of how the younger sisters of the male lead compete for, and adore his attention. Both have a similar animation style and a light comedic feel. I belive that one who enjoys one of these series would likely find the other interesting.

There are many similarities between the two series like how the main character does not like the situation that they are in and try to escape. Also, all the girls try to get the main characters attention. In my opinion if you like one you are probably going to like the other.
