The story? Ridiculous. The animation? Awful. The characters? Dumb and annoying. But the gayness? Unparalleled. We're talking soap opera level romance between these guys. I only watch sports anime for the homoeroticism, so even though literally everything else about this show absolutely sucked, I got what I came for, and for that I am grateful.

Yooo this show is super weird. I mean its not bad but soo weird, its a football school club but oh boy it has more drama than most shows I have witnessed lol. I do recommend it but I will %100 surely understand why you stopped just by watching 1 episode lol.

This will be a fairly short review. This anime is okay, not terrible or fantastic.  While I liked the first episode, the second half of the anime was definetly better than the first.  The storylines were okay, if fairly simple.  Hideto was decent as the main character.  I found Kazama annoying for the first half, he spend most of the time crying and yelling, picking fights etc but then that basically stopped so I was fine with him then.  Kurokawa was someone I didn't care about, then he turned creepy and obsessive and then seemed to get over it a few eps later.  Also Kokubo seemed like a main character in the first two eps but basically dissapeared until the last two.  I liked the coach and everyone else was fine.    Sound and animation were okay, but nothing to be excited about.  Overall it wasn't bad but probably not an anime you'll be eager to rewatch.  However I would watch a season two. One thing that did make me laugh though, they had the Kuroko no basket zone eye electric light colour thing.  If you've watched Kuroko, you know what i'm talkng about......
