Shin Seikimatsu: Yatsuto no Souguu

I would not be able to explain this show in one word, its just too obserd. Without going into too much detail, this is a stop motion animation about a woolly pink monster (The King of Terror) and a mech suit (The Savior) looking for humans on an apocolyptic planet after putting their differences aside. The story kind of plays along like a '90s kaiju sci fi with intense fight scenes and special effects and has a slight twist to the story at the end. The animation is very good for stop motion and manages to capture the intensity of whats going on at the time. Stop motion can go wrong in so many ways but this really seemed to hold strong. The characters are quite random in design but work well together and have quite funny interactions between eachother when the action has cooled down. Overall this is a fun anime to watch when you have a spare 30 minutes to burn and dont mind not questioning what is going on and just rolling with it
