I guess I will be the first person to review this anime. But it's not going to be a long review because I don't have the patience to write that. Any hoo this anime is super adorable. The story itself isn't very original but it's super sweet. Kinda reminds me of Psychic Princess without the fantasy bit. I finished this anime in one sitting (with a dinner break though) so actually more like two sittings. But still super fun. I really like this type of relationship plot so maybe I'm a bit biased. I started the second season and already like it very much. This is also one of the first Chinease animated series I've ever watched. And they sound absolutly amazing. However sometimes the sub goes a little too fast and I need to go back 10 seconds! To end this all, I reconmmend if you like romance anime like me! SORRY for all the spelling and gramatical mistakes!!!!! *wait sorry this isnt one of my first chinease animated series!!!

Worst Chinese animation Ever. Watched lot Chinese anime with bad animation but, this one is with worst story. No character development, prince hangs after stupid fool girl who get least good looks. Then have to beg her to stay with him. Total shit, wasted my time. Suggestion report it and don't watch until if you research. There might be good reviews but? this anime is total shit.

To all the historical romance fans, as well as the fans of 'The Story of Saiunkoku,' 'Pscyhic Princess,' 'Cinderella Chef,' 'Kamisama Kiss' and 'Violet Evergarden': hear ye hear ye! This anime is a work of art--the story is cliche', but also true and historically accurate. The romance is as fluffy as cotton candy one minute and as pungent as a knife in the next! This is missing the 'tragedy' tag for sure because it had me balling at the end. This anime is recommended not only for the fans stated above, but also for anyone who is looking for some serious and heart-warming romance!
