After facing numerous defeats by Dejiko and her eye-beam, Piyoko and the Black Gema Gema gang decide that a new strategy is needed. Piyoko also has a mouth-rocket attack, but since it takes longer to shout out the name of this attack Dejiko's always hits first. And so (after a lot of planning, equating and messing around) the gang members think up new ways to improve the attack, from talking faster to treating the mouth with more respect. But will any of these ideas work when Dejiko arrives on the scene?
Planet Analogue: home to small creatures, barren wastelands, and the Black Gema Gema Gang! Made up of a veterinarian, a dentist, a physician and eight-year-old Piyoko, the dastardly but oft well-meaning group always finds itself in the most bizarre and unusual situations. From learning how to brush their teeth to choosing a new flag design, Piyoko and her cohorts are constantly in the middle of an adventure – especially ones that involve Dejiko, Puchiko, and the rest of the Di Gi Charat cast!
Di Gi Charat Nyo is an alternate universe to the Di Gi Charat franchise. Dejiko and Puchiko arrive at Earth for the first time, and arrange to stay with an aspiring toy store owner. Many of the old gang are back, in different roles/characters, such as Rabi-en-Rose, and others. One thing is for sure -- it still has the same quirky randomness that goes along with the name Di Gi Charat!
Dejiko’s feud with Piyoko continues when one day she finds the Black Gema Gema gang eating dinner in her closet! As if that weren’t bad enough they then take over the entire room in an attempt to gain a small victory over the princess of the Di Gi Charat planet. Of course even when they aren’t fighting Piyoko and her gang, life is never quiet for Dejiko and company, especially when Puchiko decides to go to preschool and Dejiko comes down with a bad case of the bizarre Di Gi Charat illness. However, despite the insanity, even the Gamers gang know how to kick back, relax and watch the sakura trees in full blossom – that is, once Dejiko has used her Laser Eye Beam to secure the perfect spot!
Back on Earth, Dejiko is feeling a little homesick, and decides to take a spur-of-the-moment vacation to Planet Di Gi Charat along with Puchiko, Gema-Gema, and stowaway Rabi-en-Rose. But along the way, Pyoko and the Black Gema-Gema gang are determined to sabotage their fun!
While out on an errand for Gamers' store manager, Dejiko is blissfully unaware of the spaceship that lands nearby, and the strange girl that grabs onto her tail and follows her back to the shop. When they get back to Gamers, the girl reveals herself to be Pyoko – the leader of the Black Gema Gema Group that tried to invade the Di Gi Charat planet. However, after the Black Gema Gema failed in their mission they were forced to return home to Planet Analogue, where they lived in poverty. Now Pyoko has come up with the perfect moneymaking scheme; she’s going to kidnap Dejiko and hold her for ransom! Although she refuses to be kidnapped, Pyoko will do anything to get her revenge on Dejiko, even if it includes opening up a rival store right across the street...
