Shugo Chara!

Shugo Chara!

Hinamori Amu is a stylish punk rock girl who is liked and feared by her peers, but there's just one problem: she's actually a shy and quiet girl who can't seem to drop her self-fabricated facade! But when Amu finds three eggs in her bed, she had no idea her life would change forever. Out of the eggs pop Ran, Miki and Su, Amu's Guardian Charas; these being represent parts of Amu that she wishes she could be, even allowing Amu to transform into those parts at will! Now, with pressure from the other Guardians (including her crush, Hotori) to join their midst, dark sides of the psyche known as X Eggs to seal, and nefarious forces after a wish-granting egg known as the embryo, Amu's life has officially become more complicated!

Both animes have  little magical creature by their side that helps them thoughout their lives. That magical creature is also what ties together the maincharacter and the person she loves ( who also coincidentally also has the little magical creature). Both are REALLY GOOD ANIME and i recommend to watch them both <3

Both shows have a chibi-like character which change the life of the Main character and help them in teir love/social/school life. Personally I like Mirumo better for its innocence, and Amu hinamori is a lot more irritating as compared to Kaede, but both shows are similar in their own ways.

Mermaid Melody and Selfish Fairy are remarkably similar; both have various cute creatures/monsters and villains who are just as cute, and both have a female protagonist who is trying in vain to find a boy she loves. Beyond that, they just feel identical (and are aimed at younger folks). Mermaid Melody is a little more of a magical girl/transformation anime, while Selfish Fairy is a bit more random and slapstick. Nevertheless, if you liked one, you'd surely like the other.

As they share the same mangaka, it's no surprise that these two titles have a similar look and feel. Different in plot, sure, but both involve a young girl with a cute new sidekick of sorts. You'd definitely like one if you liked the other.

On the day she arrives at her new home, her caretaker leaves on a religious pilgrimage, leaving her alone with his son Kanata. To top it off, an alien baby crashes into the house that night! The ship is too damaged to fly so the baby and his pet/baby sitter decide to live with Miyu and Kanata until help arrives, whenever that may be. How can two unrelated middle school kids learn to live together while raising a baby that insists on calling them mom and dad?

Even though the plots are very different, in both animes there is a strong friendship between the main character and her best friend. In Mirmo it is so stong and beautiful that i cried, but you wouldn't know the depth of their friendship until you saw the whole show :P  there is also love, magic, competition, and just plain comedy in both animes :)

In Mirmo it is a a little fairy companion that helps her fufil her dream which is for her and her love, Setsu, to end up together. In Gakuen Alice the strong friendship is between the main character and her childhood friend, which moves away and she ends up following her.

Both are AMAZING!! PLEASE WATCH BOTH <3
