Here is another harem Type story, with a guy being surronded by girls, but only two are really interested in him. The plot with him being some secluded mountain samurai makes for some interesting/Funny moments, but in the end its still the standard harem, ecchi, comedy everbody knows and only loved by some. Its been done better.

I am always attracted to stories about a character who for various reasons dosen't think like a normal person and thus has trouble fitting in, for example earth to psychoelectric girl or And You Thought There Was a Girl Online. I got a similar feeling from this show, although now to the same extent. I really liked the balance in this show, in my experience any harem show that isn't just slice of life or fighting school is predominatly focussed on the the romance aspect and any action is for the most part sidelined. With this show the martial arts where the main focus and even a large portion of the gags were related to action scene. I also found the pacing to be refreshingly fast, and the characters didn't just stay in the whole i won't admi to myslef im in love with him stage for the entire show like many harem anime. The side characters were for the most part reasonably complex and interesting and even the vilians weren't just 2d bad guys which i can appreciate. I actually didn't notice this anime doesn't have an opening or ending song until about halfway through which actually makes this show functionally longer than a normal series of the same length by about 20 minutes.

Pretty standard harem. I find it funny that one of the harem members is a transvestite and it takes a while to find this out. Overall just a fun and quick watch. It was a nice pick me up on a sick day.

I do not typicaly write reviews so do not expect much :D

This is a special kind of anime, ont that will most likely not apeal to everyone. At its core it is basically what would happen if Kenshin and Love Hina had a love child. Now if that does not make you interested nothing will.

The animation is nothing to write home about but it suits this type of anime, the voice acting is done pretty well and the charaters make the show. This is an ecchi/harem anime so do not expect a deep underlying story its just make you laugh out loud funny with a master swordsman with the worst luck ever when it comes to bumping into girls with his hands in the wrong place.

Like i said nothing deep but if you ever wanted to know what would happen if you put Love Hina and Kenshin in a blender and see what would happen then this anime is for you.

Asu no Yoichi is an ecchi harem that caught my attention because of the pretty girls on the cover (and the art style). After studying martial arts in the mountains for 17 years,  Yoichi Karasuma is sent to train in the city by his father. The current head of the Ukiha Divine Wind Style Swordplay school of martial arts, Ibuki Ikaruga, and her three sisters openly accepts Yoichi into their household. This comedic and entertaining anime follow the hero's lifestyle as he manages to live with four gorgeous women and settle into a school (something he was never used to since he was "home-schooled").

Asu no Yoichi has very interesting and developed characters. The four sisters all have different interests and personalities. The head of the dojo, Ibuki Ikaruga, is popular and good looking. She took on the maternal role in the family at a very young age. She is naturally good at studies, sports, and martial arts. Ayame is shy with a tsundere personality. She is overly aware of her breast size (non-existent) and hates being compared to Ibuki. Ayame takes care of the chores around the house and feels overshadowed by Ibuki. Chihaya is the second youngest in the family and is a professional manga-ka. She often uses her siblings as a basis for her manga. Kagome is the youngest sister and is very clumsy. She is very shy, but good at cooking. Her breasts are larger than Ayame, so she binds them as not to hurt Ayame's feelings.

The anime follows Yoichi and his daily life. I found that I really enjoyed this season. The characters have very detailed relations to one another and the comedy is not overplayed. I thought the voice-acting was well done and the art style is something that interested me right off-the-bat. I think anyone who likes some quick panty-shots and some hysterics should watch this anime.
