Saiyuki Reload is worse than Saiyuki. It's similar to InuYasha especially to episodes 50. There is purpose of their journey but most of time they do other stuff like helping people etc.

If you loved the deamon fighting antics of Saiyuki Reload I'm sure you'll love Bleach too. The monsters Ichigo has to fight my not be beserked youkai, but their still pretty tough. Both shows also have a good mixture of comedy and drama. If you liked one you're sure to enjoy the other.
