This show reminds me of the first season of The Magus' Bride. While there are dark themes lurking around, the focus of the show has a lighter approach. I really like this kind of love story.This story was a little campy at first, but the growing love between Salfi and The King is just so pure and heartwarming. The situations explain social fear and racism quite well, even though it's less poignant here. More importantly, the story so far has me wanting more. I really hope this show ends well.

The story is good, a girl being raised as a sacrifice to the beasts king only to end up being his bride and all that, it is good i wont lie. BUT the age gap is so off-putting, sariphi is a 15 years old kid and the king is at least mid 20s, in the scenes where theyre together i get goosebumps all over my body i cant watch it.

This anime definitly has its flaws but its still pretty decent. The plot in generall is pretty good and so are the character designs. The kings human design is one of my favorites only because I am totally bias twoards handsom men with long hair. The only thing that I really find the need to point out is that seriphe (the fl) is one of those characters that everyone comes to love. I don't really see anything wrong with this but the methods she uses to gain everyones affection are quite extreme. She pays little attention to herself and puts her self in dangers situations, way to often. I mean WAY WAY to often. Its to the points where shes jumping off of buildings almost every episode while trying to save someone. EDIT: WHY DID THE KING CUT HIS HAIR?!?! I mean he still looks handsom but ITS NOT THE SAME T-T Also SERIPHE IS ONLY 15?!?!?!?! HUH
