Ride Your Wave - Reviews

After watching the trailer, I didn't had much expectations about this movie, thought it was going to be some sappy supernatural lovestory, but it was surprisingly good. It has a simple story, characters, music and beautiful animation. I still can't get the soundtrack out of my head- BRAND NEW STORY.

This movie is not just all about romance, it's about finding happiness in life by taking personal responsibility, overcoming loss, letting go of the past and finding new passion and opportunities in life. 

Overall, the movie is simple, fun and refreshing to watch. A bitter sweet lovestory that teaches you lot of things.

Im giving this a 9 because you connect with the characters so well in such a short amount of time. Also all the charachters have that special thing about them that makes the movie so realistic. The first movie I ever cried to.

I found this to be a sweet story, whimsical in wonderful ways, and generally charming. The development of the two's romance and all the characters personalities were perhaps this films greatest strengths, and gave a firm foundation to keep me invested in the story. I loved the art style. Give it a watch!

This movie is a beautiful and heartwenching story about a girl who loves the ocean and a boy who loves her. They finally meet face to face and she falls for him and happiness ensues.

This movie is about finding yourself when all seems lost, when the people you love aren't there and you suddenly have to find your own footing in the world. I can relate to the Hinako, she's just as lost in life, but warm and full of adventure.

I don't want to get too much into this cause I don't want to spoil it, but overall a breathtaking movie that made me cry several times. It also made me miss the ocean far more than I wanted to.

This movie is easy to find, I watched it right off of youtube, so be sure to give it a chance.

The animation is just amazing but it's the only thing that is great about the movie. The characters are sometimes boring and their development is less than great. The soundtrack is ok i guess. The story is good but is sometimes a little bit predictable and it also has a very slow pacing in my opinion so we have less emotional impact.

All and all a good movie in general. I recomend it specially for it's amazing drawings in the animation.
