Resident Evil: Death Island - Reviews

honestly i enjoyed this movie. it felt like a love letter to everything both good and cheesy about the series. it was a nice touch having some references to re6 which is def a divisive game amongst the fanbase. only thing that i felt was weak about it was the main villain wanting revenge just cause he had to kill his friend. like yea lets totally use a virus that made you kill your friend to punish the rest of the world. the character designs were a bit weird and the animation felt kind of stiff at times but when it looked good it looked amazing. last minor gripe about this movie is some of the voice acting is a bit off. i dont blame the VAs though as they probly just had some bad voice direction. i did love that they kept leon as a wise cracking badass like how he was in re4. overall if you love the games i def recommend this movie. kinda makes me want a game with jill chris rebecca leon and claire. hopfully if they remake re6 that becomes a reality but only time will tell.
