With a slight improvement in animation and addressing some major issues of the previous series this third installment builds on the characters and their interactions with each other. New characters are introduced which was a welcome move and created opportnities for fresher puns. Three police women that had been introduced in season 2 are now recurring characters who know Atsushi (Thanks to the clear up in the previous series) and therefore he is no longer being hauled to the police station as a "molester". Overall a decent watch and considering how you can finish the series within half an hour its really not that bad a choice.
