In my opinion, the anime became really boring affter while. The story doesn't really make sense but that doesn't really matter. Animation is not bad, i like the background animation in the scenes from the capital

I personally don't like the characters, everything about this anime is one big cliche and i don't really get why is this anime that popular

Buckle up and don't get too attached to anyone or anything. You are in for quite the ride. This show was brilliant. One of few that I give a 9 or 10 to. If you are like me and you enjoy a darker show that takes convention and turns it on its head entirely then this show is for you. It may look light but it is heavy.

Story: Might I just say that the concept for this show was incredibly well done? At first I thought that the concept was going to be far too much like Stein's Gate and that it would not be original enough. No, this show is full of original ideas. How about the only power you have be dying and going back to a fixed point prior to your death? This power is explored in a brilliant way that makes for a very original story. There was one moment where I felt that the story was side lined for action but that is ok, some people just want to see a giant battle against a whale anyway.

Animation: The animation is very well done. I really liked the character designs, the lack of focus on fan service was most refreshing. The characters are far better that way. The animation is pretty solid throughout and it also has some really good moments. It isn't like your name. or Violet Evergarden but it is solid nonetheless.

Sound: This soundtrack is brilliant. It is something I could stand listening to by itself. It plays off of the mood perfectly especially the first OP.

Characters: I would give this a 10 but I felt like a few of the characters could have been flushed out a little more. The main characters however all had great back story and development. Best girl was Rem.

Other: This show takes full advantage of the length of an episode. I loved how they often dropped the credit sequence in order to use another two or three minutes of screen time. That was brilliant!

Overall: This story is brilliant. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a love of complex story lines with deep plots interspersed with some great action.

Unfortunately I am unable to give this higher than a 10/10. (Spoilers) The story is amazing, having a "live die repeat" and a "trapped in a video game" feel is appealing and never boring. The problems I usually face with anime is where the main character must live with a multitude of mistakes, and although this is also true for this anime, Natsuki Subaru is still able to fix his mistakes. While he is forced to live with the pain of his mistakes, he has the chance to fix the negative consequences of said mistakes by simply dying. He is very good at dying. The animation is very good. It does not sugar-coat everything, rather the blood and gore of it is forced in your face and shoved down your throat. It may not be pleasant if you are sqeamish but its still a very well animated series. The sound is very good. The voice actors are better than most others in the business, particularly in the crying/vomiting/gut-spilling scenes. The character development is very well done and the effect that Subaru's "condition" has on his thoughts and words is incredibly realistic. Also, the way they made him unable to talk about himself being able to "respawn" by experiencing extreme pain from the witch is very clever and helpt clear up any loopholes. Honestly this anime is the greatest and I would not be exaggerating by saying its my favorite anime of all time. Very good.

This is my first review so bare with me :) I saw this anime had a couple really low reviews and after watching it I just had to set the record straight

STORY
This story is absolutley incredible and this has become one of my favorite anime! In the begining it has a pretty common premise of an average person being summoned into a fantasy themed world, but they add in the save point factor, which is whenever Subaru dies he is respawned at his last save point with all his memories including his (usually extremely brutal) death and the deathes of the people around him. I won't go to much into it to avoid spoilers but this anime has the perfect balance of emotional scenes, comedy and brutal violence. Some parts make you actually care about the characters and what will happen to them other parts are very, very dark and shocking to see these terrible things happening to the characters you care so much about.

ANIMATION
Great animation filled with beautiful landscapes and fluid action scenes. The characters and designed well, personally I don't like how Roswaal looks but I'm not a fan I weird characters like him in general.

SOUND
I lovde the soundtrack for this anime the opening and closing songs are great. If there is an annoying voice in an anime it can ruin the experience for me but there is nothing like that in this show.

Characters
Incredible character development in this show taking the time to make you fall in love with each character. I hate characters names Subaru, but coming from the U.S. I might be biased because it is a very popular car brand in my area (2 of the 3 cars I've owned are Subaru's, right now I have a 2016 Subaru Impreza) and some of his actions have made me cringe but all in all I got over the name and I like is character as a whole. Also the cringe worthy moments make him realistically human and more relatable.

Overall Summary
All in all this is an incredible anime everyone should try watching. This show has everything it needs to be a truly great anime and will always be one of my favorites. I can't wait for more episode to be realeased!
