Both shows rely on crude, sexual humor for their comedy, although Shimoneta is more satirical about it's lewdness than Prison School, which mostly just throws in fetish humor for the sake of it. Both are also animated by JC Staff.

They both are ecchi  type anime with repeated jokes and a dirty sense of humor. They also are different from any other anime with ecchi  because they have a story or as I like to call it PLOT

ashman711 ashman711 says

both have over the top comedy and very perverse/ funny scenes making you burst out in hystercial laughter wondering what the hell you just saw. if you laugh out loud at one, you'll certainly laugh out loud watching the other

Four men are assigned to Nanba, the world’s most formidable prison. Juugo, a man who attempted to break out of prison and ended up extending his jail time; Uno, a man who likes to gamble with women; Rock, a man who likes to get into fights; and Nico, a man who likes anime. A super exciting action comedy about the daily lives of the prison’s...

Prison School's animation is rough and ragged while Nanbaka is bright and crazy but otherwise average. Both take place in "prisons" of some sort with the theme of escaping though. The prisoners are male and each has their own defined quirks. Both include comedy. If you liked one, you should consider trying the other.

Shadowespio Shadowespio says

Both take place in a prison and have a unique cast of characters. There's also over the top comedy in both shows that are sure to get you laughing.

If you've ever wondered what a Farrelly brothers directed anime would look like then these are must watch titles. No subject is taboo and no bodily function is too gross for these outrageous anime.

The plots are wildly different, but the style of humor is the exact same kind of no holds barred comedy where sex, violence and toilet humor all collide in a messy explosion of hilarity.

If you're looking for fast paced gross out humor then Azazel-san and Prison School then check out both of these hilarious treats.
