An anime with a cute round cat named Poyo

If not more, Poyo is as cute as his name, and the family that adopts him is kinder and more harmonious than any anime family I have seen. Nothing will cheer you more than a good chibi-comedy anime like Poyopoyo. The final episode really melted my heart. And my God, Ootani Ikue, what an amazing voice actress you are! God bless you.

This was the cutest anime I have watched so far!! Love the ball of fluff Poyo, wish I had one. Animaion was good, nice 2D type and clean. Not really a story here except 2 episodes near the end of the series, other then that it was just good antics and relations with the fluff ball. Each episode is not to long and is just a joy to watch. At some point I will watch this one again.

• A round ball of fluffy adorableness is what you need to expect from watching Poyo's adventures. It goes along the lines of Chi's sweet home, with the same laughs and cuteness overload nosebleeds you may receive. Like Chi's Sweet Home, there are a lot of episodes, but each one is only three minutes long, including the short, 30-second cutsey opening.

• The key word here is, if you haven't got it yet, cute, even though the stylized portrayal of the cat main character isn't the one you'd want to squeal "D'awwww!" at... But the roundness of it all makes the anime succeed in its "make-the-audience-wish-they-had-a-fluffy-furball-like-that-at-home-too" intent anyway. The supporting cast of characters is fun too (special mentions go to the macho grandpa and, to a lesser extent, his son), all in all providing us with a fun ride.

• While one could say that the anime is just mindless fluff, it's worth a watch if you're a lover of either cats, animals, or cute things in general: if you fit the description, definitely give it a try.

This anime is short, girly, and strange. 

• Not for a young audience due to an occasional adult-joke here or there.
• Not for a male audience, due to the overly-girly slap-stick humor.

The only people I can see liking this are cat lovers who are adult females.

It’s under average in my opinion (3/10). It is less than 3 hours to watch the whole thing so if you are a girl who is really into cats, I would recommend watching it. Everyone else, skip it.
