The day before the graduation ceremony, five middle school girls each are preoccupied with their real everyday lives. These girls meet each other in a fantasy world after being sent there through a sudden occurrence. There, they learn about the impending crisis that this world is facing. The way to avert this crisis is for the five to collaborate and bring their five hearts together as one through dance. However, the five cannot come to love the world, and cannot tell their true feelings to one another, so their hearts are unable to unite and the time limit is fast approaching.
I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved it! Even though the story was a little fast paced, I was still interested! The end got me jumping, like "THERE MUST BE A SECOND" but I can't find it at all! I really hope there will be a second one because each character was unique and all 5 girls bonded, their fate in the end come together! Isn't that awesome!
I'll try to keep this fairly spoiler free, but I didn't care about the show nearly enough to put in the usual effort. This show was made for little girls and feels like it. Very smarmy themes, saving little push creatures from bad guys, overcoming your fears with friendship and dancing. The story was ham-fisted with one key scene being so out-of-world fake I nearly turned it off. It's better total quality than your average little kids show I suppose, but this barely belongs in the isekai genre and fits quite a bit better into the idol genre with a touch of magical girl. It's syrupy sappy sweetness with almost nothing else. I don't really know what to relate it to, but if you don't mind that nothing makes sense and want to watch a few grouchy girls with regrets of giving up too easily in their real life become friends thanks to cuddly plush toys who teach them to dance, then more power too you I guess.
