Spring 2013 Anime Review - Photo Kano
- Boring
- Surprisingly the characters were 'alright'
- Pretty cheesy but at least the guy isn't your stereotypical harem wimp
- It's a shame really, they could have made a fantastic hentai out of this anime
- One thing that really bugged me though: In episode 06, Niimi says she can tell Maeda loves her without him having to say it, but the flashback right after shows he admitted his love several times within the same scene…
- Eps 07 (hamburger girl) was better than usual. They def got some action under the stars lol~
- In eps 09, Maeda told Nonoka it was his first time hearing a girl saying she loves him which is chronologically false
- Photo Kano: the transformation of Darts'un to Player'un
- The last episode just reassures my conjecture - this would been a fantastic hentai ; __ ;

UPDATE: Anime-Planet has removed the Blog feature where this post was originally published on March 23, 2014. I pulled the scores from my ratings, although this is NOT a formal review. Think of it more as “thoughts on…<anime title>”. I wrote my thoughts out as I progressed through the series, so contradictions may occur as my opinion shifts. To shorten the post I took excerpts from the original. Sorry for any inconvenience and please leave your thoughts below! :)

Prepare yourself for the most typical and monotonous anime you'll ever force yourself to swallow like a horse pill. Where the most unique plot element that sets it apart is that the protagonist... takes up photography? Yea... that's pretty much it.

And don't worry about forgetting it, because his internal monologue will remind you in virtually every episode that photography changed his life... somehow.

Be enthralled by every female stereotype you've ever seen in an anime, and have serious doubts about their willingness to be photographed at unexpected times and places.

Immerse yourself in even further doubts of the protagonist's "reluctance" to victimize every female character through photography... somehow, and finally lay those doubts to rest as you watch him do it anyways.

Have your mind not really blown when the dream that wakes him up in the first episode becomes a prophecy in the last episode... probably. I stopped watching at episode six.

So turn it on and take a nap. Then write a nice review like I did, or don't and watch something else.
