These anime is a must see. Code Geass and Phantom are 2 very diffrent anime, Yet at the same time they both have that instant hook that some anime have like after watching just 1 episode you cant stop watching. Phantom have assassins and CG have mecha. Both of these anime are just awesome in the way they present the development of the main characters and the world around them. They have a similar pace in the plot as well although CG is mutch more visually impressive. However dont take anything away from Phantom the art style is very good in this anime as well.

Without focusing on gore, sex or supernatural horror, these both Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ and Deadman Wonderland put an average human being into an unspeakable world of darkness where only their inner will to survive prevails.

I recommend both these animes if you've seen the other because they are both very similar. They both involve gangs and have a similar feel they are also set in America/South America. The main characters also have a certain goal in mind and are both wanted. Also, both have a younger child that must be taken care of in some stage of the anime and the child grows up towards the end of the anime.

Both anime had great plot, characters, animation, and awesone action scenes. Requiem for the Phantom has modern setting and very interesting to watch. I really liked the Attack on Titan's story telling and it had lot of mysteries. It is still on-going manga and anime had only season yet.

PSYCHO-PASS

PSYCHO-PASS

In the future, a system called Sibyl presides over the country and provides order to every facet of life. It dictates which job fields citizens should go into based on aptitude tests, and can even read each resident's mental state and predict which ones are likely to commit crimes in the future. Fresh from exams, Akane Tsunemori is beginning her career as an Inspector, a specialized police officer who works to apprehend these latent criminals and stop crimes before they happen. But not all that get caught are eliminated or jailed, some join the police force as Enforcers to provide insight into criminals’ minds, and Akane is warned not to get too close to them, as they're considered little more than hunting dogs. Though skeptical of this advice, and Sibyl's judgement, Akane is determined to work together with her Enforcers to protect the peace of her city and its inhabitants.

Although Requiem for the phantom and Berserk are set in vastly different times and worlds, both are excellent and mature depictions of both the best and worst in human nature. While Berserk takes place in a Medieval European fantasy world, Requiem for the Phantom is set in Modern America. Though the differences may seem vast, both deal with a main character who kills for a living and must face the consequences of his actions. Strong themes of existentialism pervade both series as the characters struggle with their purpose when killing is all they know. Although the action in these two shows is very different, both depict violence in an entertaining but mature way, often maintaining a sense of realism when dealing with the tragedy of war and killing. Berserk and Phantom~Requiem for the Phantom~ are tragic and gritty tales with certain amounts of beauty to be found in both. Both are fantastic anime for older audiences

The series revolves around two "Handymen" who take on jobs for both the mob and the police force that no one else can handle. The two, named Worick Arcangelo and Nicolas Brown, work in the town of Ergastulum, which is full of mafia, hoodlums, prositutes, and dirty cops. - wikipedia

It revolves around two men who work together to fight the evil mafia, both had tragic pasts and one of them is a twilight, similar like in Requiem for the Phantom, he was forced to work and kill for the groups benefit, and treated like an animal.

Both anime deal with characters that work on the less than legal side of society and center around a protagonist rife with loneliness.  Both have good action sequences and story development and maintain a more serious atmosphere throughout the length of the series.
