The second season of Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time.
***No Spoilers*** The main gag is still the same as season one, and it was already really worn out at that point. The fact that they didn’t really bring any new gags this time around makes it even worse. On top of that the animation has gotten worse, so the girls aren't even looking their best. So if you are just looking at this for the cute girls and hard ecchi, even that will disappoint you. You can easily find better elsewhere if that's what you are after. In the end all I got out of this was maybe one or two small laughs ? A really trash show overall, but it's still better than utter complete trash like Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. 3/10
so i did finish this anime a while ago so bare with me on recalling what i liked about it. the story is hilarious and dosnt feel like the comedy was forced. some how they were able to make you feel bad about peter grill cause of him trying his hardest to stay loyal to his fiance. the fanservice never overstayed its welcome and always felt properly intergrated into the story. even tho the girls only wanted one thing they still felt well developed as the story when on. the story, while having the typical harem elements, was actually enjoyable. it got some great laughs out of me. only thing i didnt like was te suggested or implied incestual feelings the king had twards his daughter. if you want a harem that dosent feel cringy and has a well writen story then look no further cause i garentee youll love this anime.
This show is so fun and is one of the best ecchi animes. Unlike season 1 I found this season to have more of a plot and because of that it was much better. It introduces new characters in a more natual way and the new characters were great. This season still manages to balance these new storylines with the comedy and fan service involving the main cast's familiar tomfoolery.
