Panyo Panyo is a prequel to the Di Gi Charat television series/OVAs, taking place when Dejiko and Puchiko are young(er) girls. Bored with the dreariness of their castle on Planet Di Gi Charat, they escape to the town to do what they want to do the most -- help others be happy! Much of the trademark randomness of the Di Gi Charat saga has been replaced in Panyo Panyo with syrupy sweetness and super-cute animation.
