Genuinely found it quite interesting. Good story line which keeps the watcher wanting to find out more with the many cliffhangers. Would have liked Taylor or Hayley to be a bit more interesting as their characters are kind of plain and predictable. But am looking forward to a season 2:)

Terrible

I'm a fan of the Pacific Rim movie and the Kajju series so I decided to watch this but it was complete trash. Firstly the art was CGI and the characters were so plain the animation is decent but overall this anime was just trash.

I'm a huge fan of the Pacific Rim movie series (meaning I love the first one and loathe the second) and checked out this anime as a means to see where it was situated in the universe.

Can't really say I'm disappointed: the story, while predictable, was somewhat solid and really followed the Blackout comics. It was nothing too deep, and probably not the best that could have been done with the franchise, but it was a fun ride!

Loved the animation despite some janky moments (I don't really hate CG, Polygon Pictures worked well on this one), and I honestly fell in love with the soundtrack. It felt very reminiscent of the first movie, which was amazing!

Only negative thing about the series is that it forces me to acknowledge that Pacific Rim Uprising is canon, but I hate it too much to do it.

Great series, can't wait for season 2!

Surprisingly not bad for CGI anime Netflix normally produces. Someone who likes this genre would enjoy it much more than me, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't hold up to the movies. It's much slower pace. The human villain is boring, and the characters miss very obvious things.

There's a couple interesting twists at the end and it leaves off with a kind-of cliffhanger.

It's alright.

Such utter trash, i couldn't get invested past the first few episodes, did the writers even bother googling australia before writing that everyone had 5 days to evacuate to a list of cities that didn't include even Melbourne which literally has twice the population as brisbane FFS. And then there's this magical oasis waterfall in the middle of the desert where they can grow food no problem. Ugh, i was really excited for this too.
