They end in a way that makes about as much sense as the other, tie off an equal number of loose plot threads, and they both satisfy the viewers equally.

Treats the subject with the levity it deserves and doesn't cram it all into the last three episodes as a pandering device. Most importantly doesn't bottle it at the last minute.
